Every now and then I seethe in anger again that we don't have a live HD recording of her LTAL Tour....SUCH A SHAME! Angry every time. The world of music is seriously missing a holy grail.

 

Au coeur du stade is part of her Let's talk about love tour, right?

Yeah it's a part of her LTAL tour but a French show.

 

I wish we could have had the LTAL tour on DVD as well. They should have released a double dvd

That's why I don't think anyone hears the fans sometimes. I dont think they know about this place and that's a shame because there are good ideas in here from time to time. :)

That's why I don't think anyone hears the fans sometimes. I dont think they know about this place and that's a shame because there are good ideas in here from time to time. :)

 

Oh yeah we have a lot of wishes :)

 

Someone here said they met Aldo or Scott (can't remember) and he said that there were some people (probably Team Céline) checking out this forum.

Random thought: Can I just say that the interview of Celine by Rosie O'Donnell in 1998 when Celine sang To love you more is one of her best TV appearances of all time?! Omg she was so funny. Not corny at all. Those 2 had the best chemistry ever!! Edited by superstar85ca

I agree, I like their chemistry, wish Rosie could interview her again but I guess she never will now... unless she gets her own talkshow again.

 

I don't see any chemistry between Ellen and Céline

Omg I agree completely. Ellen doesn't know how to get the best out of Celine. Rosie spoke to her like a real person, teasing her about loving golf, her French accent etc. But Ellen always looks like she's just confused by Celine and doesnt get her at all!

I tend to find American talk show hosts boring. Celine needs to get on The Graham Norton Show. Now that show is hilarious as hell :giggle:

I sometimes feel that in America, lthere is a invisible line that they can't cross. Not saying they should be rude or anything, just more daring

No, you are absolutely correct. I've seen what they show and talk about on foreign TV and if you compare to American TV we are pretty tame here, almost censored. Imho. :)

Yeah you are right :) I hope she does a lot of TV in Europe this summer, specially in UK since that will be in English.

I wonder why. I don't mean like any rude language or anything but the topics are just less interesting on American TV.

I do prefer her interviews in French as well but since I'm not that good in French makes it a bit of a problem.

 

But thanx for Condor who did make subtitles for the most important if not all of them last year :clap:

I think one of the reasons Celine can be a little cheesy/corny in her interviews is because she is over compensating for the lack of ability of the interviewer to keep the conversation going and to keep it interesting not only for the viewer but for Celine as well. U notice when Rosie is interviewing her, she is genuinely interested in Celine and in turn Celine can feed off that energy without having to do anything other than be herself. I find Oprah was a great interviewer of Celine as well.

Céline would be perfect on The Graham Norton Show. Norton seems to enjoy interviewing his guests and very funny,indeed. I love the red chair at the end of the program :)
