Do you think that's likely? Would she really cross the ocean for single promos? Album promo, sure. But has she been known to do that for singles, really, especially if it's so far in advance of actual album release?

And do we know for sure that Encore Un Soir will be the first single? I don't remember anymore whether that's been confirmed or whether it's just our conjecture.

Do you think she ever goes to RC's hockey games? Or would she be more likely to avoid them for fear of drawing too much attention? I wonder. I'm sure she'd love to be there from time to time to cheer him on, but it must be difficult for her to just how up to a community ice rink and not cause a commotion!

I can understand that it might cause a commotion, but hopefully they will have respect and leave her alone. Her and Rene used to go to basket ball with RC to watch a game. I hope she will go to RC's hockey games, people will obviously look at her, but it is important for RC to have his Mom there, watching him playing. Only my thoughts though, so no worries.

Here's the part where everyone boos me. But I love Adele and I think she has an incredible voice and great songs. And clearly Celine loves her too. Though I must agree MHWGO should have been above the Skyfall performance.

Which skyfall performance? The one at the oscars missed the mark completely due to bad sound engineering. Skyfall itself though is a masterpiece in my opinion. It is a big Bond song and the orchestral parts accompanied by Adele's special voice is amazing. But as far as doing the song live she only redeemed herself in new york and for the bbc special this year. If Skyfall is in this list it must be that live performance in New York, def not that one at the Oscar's

I remember reading a long time ago on this forum that someone said there is pictures of Celine's passport inside the cover of Celine's book: Autour du Monde?

I don't know if that's true, but I remember reading that it showed the information written inside Celine's passport. Does anyone have a picture of this?

Can someone tell me why The Red Heads are seated inside the theater with Céline in this photo from their FB..? Was it for a special occasion? Also, they are all making the L.V sign... she might have told them what was that about!

I don't think the passport pictures would be fake. Celine has published passport info in the past from her first ever passport in the For Keeps book. I don't think she would bother putting fake pictures in her books.

Would anyone be able to post the passport photos from the Autour du Monde book to the forum? I am just curious to see it.

I believe you're right, there's a picture of it in the inside cover if I remember correctly. I'm out of town for Easter but I can look for it when I get home and post a pic

I've definitely seen these passport photos online somewhere quite recently, but can't remember where. There were 2, with the most recent circa 2008, I think. And the name was Dion.

And by the way, under Quebec law she's required to keep the Dion name. This has been the case for all Quebec marriages since 1981. There was recently some controversy around this when Sophie Grégoire elected to be called Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau. You can read about it here, but basically:

"In Quebec, [...] adopting your husband’s name is neither customary nor legal. Under Quebec’s Civil Code, women are not allowed to formally change their name at marriage and they can’t tether their husband’s names to their own either. “In marriage, both spouses retain their respective names, and exercise their respective civil rights under those names,” the law states. The 1981 reform was seen as significant gain for equality between men and women in Quebec. [... ]

Under Quebec’s rules, a woman is free to adopt her spouse’s name in social situations, but her maiden name remains on legal documents and it’s up to her to clear up any confusion. While a person can ask for a legal name change, the rules are very strict. The Registrar of Civil Status will only consider changes based on “serious” motives such as having a name that invites ridicule, or becomes infamous (murderer Karla Homolka tried to change her name to Emily Chiara Tremblay when she lived in Quebec, and was turned down)."

I've definitely seen these passport photos online somewhere quite recently, but can't remember where. There were 2, with the most recent circa 2008, I think. And the name was Dion.

I'm thinking they are referring to the Oscars performance of Skyfall since it was a countdown of best Oscar performances. I agree though the one in New York was the absolute best live performance of that song. The song itself though is as you said absolutely gorgeous

I also would love to see the picture from the Autour du monde book of Celine and Princess Charlene from the Monaco section of the book? I didn't even know they met until yesterday. I went to check out the topic on the forum about the Autour du monde book and someone on there had mentioned about a picture of them meeting.

I am a huge fan of everyone in the royal family, so I would love to see that pic! :wub:

I was wondering if someone could help me remember something. At one point Michael Jackson gave Celine a fedora (I think that's what it was) and I remember he had inscribed it with something peculiar. Does anyone remember what he wrote and if she spoke about it in an interview? I think I had watched an interview about it and would like to watch it again!
