Has Simon Cowell ever said in an interview or the press what he thinks of Celines voice?

After her performance on the X-Factor he gave her a standing ovation after the song, so i just wondered what he thought of her

I was wondering what is ''The Claw'' thing that she does at the Ceasar Palace little tour!!Does she imitate someone??Or is just a joke?This movement reminds me Jim Carey at Liar Liar film,cause he was always doing the same ,too. I really don't get it.why she does that?

In regards to you're question regarding what Simon thinks of Celine's voice I have no clue, although shes appeared on American Idol and X Factor, which are both his shows so....

Although...

I was just going through some of my old emails today and found an email that one of my contacts sent to me the Monday after Celine appeared on the X Factor...

Which was regarding Celine's appearance on the show...

And one of the things mentioned was, that Simon thought Celine was so great and easy to work with, she was very professional, and not only was a pleasure to have on the show, but was the best artist they've had on the show! ^_^

I would love to know if celine has ever gotten pissed off or mad.? she all way seems so uppy.(in a good mood all the time ).

I know in For Keeps that Rene took Rene-Charles out golfing ( I think) and he ended up getting hurt somehow and Celine got really mad at Rene. She wanted to know how it happened and he just shrugged it off and said "All athlete's get hurt." and she was really pissed and replied "He not an athlete, he's 3" and they had a fight about it.

She supposedly doesn't like Rene staying too long on the phone. Also, it's been said that she was very displeased w/ the mic malfunction at the Grammys. As far as I know, she's never spoken about that incident.

Celine is - beside of being "our" godess - a human being and is certainly sometimes pissed off. But she learned from the start to hide feelings like that from the public. But I also guess that she is a very positiv person, having a big heart and soul. And I also guess that she has a "lady-like" way of showing when she's pissed off ... And I'm convinced that with the terrible sickness of Rene she learned about the right priorities in life - what is important and not ...

I don't think her getting a bit upset over RC getting a scratch or whatever playing golf and Rene saying it was nothing is her really getting "pissed off." She's a mom all moms over exagerate when it comes to their kids injuries and I think RC being so small she got overly upset because trust me I know ALOT of moms and they all do this when it comes to their kids. My brothers girlfriend freaks out on a daily basis over a little bump or scratch Tori gets and she's only five months old. I doubt her and Rene fight, whats their to fight over? Her life is like what most consider perfect. I certainly don't see anything to fight wtih Rene over. It was on one of the books either For Keeps or My Story My Dream Celine said it takes ALOT to make her mad, something like really big has to happen for her to get mad, she said she's usually a calm person and doesn't get mad easily.

So today I decided to order the ''Celine Dion - Live in Memphis'' DVD from Amazon.com (believe it or not I could not find that DVD anywhere in SA). I have a question: Is there a particular reason why that DVD is so expensive. On Amazon.com it costs $504. I was like WHAAAAAAAAAT! If I convert it to rand, it is more than R4000. I can buy more than 20 DVDs for that price... So I ended up buyng it in VHS together with the ''Au Coeur du Stade'' DVD.

I have that track. The first verse you can hear the audience in the background, but from "Cos I'm your lady" onwards it's the full acapella track that Celine lips to!!

It's virtually impossible to remove all other other sounds from a live performance. This is obviously the original acapella recorded in 1994, in preparation for Celine's tour. This is what's been played with the band's music for Celine to lip to ever since! :flowers:

edit: wow they really make these lipping tracks sound live with the echo and everything. sneaky sneaky. BUT I love hearing some Celine without the background tracks thats really all you need is her voice.
