Now that she is off for awhile(year and a half) does anyone know if her bodygrards work?.what do they do for that time off. or do they stay with her all the time. what ever happens to her SUVs that she used for the tour.are they own by someone/ or by sony. can anyone pls respond to this.

can someone tell me what program is used to make this sound acappela? I would love to make more of my celine songs that way.

I have that track. The first verse you can hear the audience in the background, but from "Cos I'm your lady" onwards it's the full acapella track that Celine lips to!!

It's virtually impossible to remove all other other sounds from a live performance. This is obviously the original acapella recorded in 1994, in preparation for Celine's tour. This is what's been played with the band's music for Celine to lip to ever since!

I would love to know if celine has ever gotten pissed off or mad.? she all way seems so uppy.(in a good mood all the time ).

I know in For Keeps that Rene took Rene-Charles out golfing ( I think) and he ended up getting hurt somehow and Celine got really mad at Rene. She wanted to know how it happened and he just shrugged it off and said "All athlete's get hurt." and she was really pissed and replied "He not an athlete, he's 3" and they had a fight about it.
She supposedly doesn't like Rene staying too long on the phone. Also, it's been said that she was very displeased w/ the mic malfunction at the Grammys. As far as I know, she's never spoken about that incident.

edit: wow they really make these lipping tracks sound live with the echo and everything. sneaky sneaky. BUT I love hearing some Celine without the background tracks thats really all you need is her voice.

Also, take into account that Celine's tracks, are from what I understand, recorded live and later used to lip to, so they'd have an echo.

I never knew that Janis Ian posted a comment about Celine's performance of her song "Seventeen". Anyway I was reading in the Fan News section of the official website and discovered that she had. I don't know if it was posted here or not but here it is:

No. The ESNRQ acapella was made from the studio CD recording. And the IDAN acapella was officially released on a promotional single somewhere. And the MHWGO acapella was made by just using the center channel in a 5.1 surround sound environment on the LILV DVD, meaning it was mostly just Celine's voice being played

The TPOL acapella wasn't made using the DVD, it's obvious as the beginning is different and there is no echo. It sounds more raw.

As well as TPOL, the only other 'live' acapella is TLYM, although you can still hear some background noise:

I'd love to have the real live acapella playbacks Celine uses for IDAN, IACBTMN, TLYM, MHWGO etc. I love them!

Yeah, plus the long note in the TPOL one was 12 seconds and the way she says "the sound" at about 1:56 in this video is not in that a capalla clip. It's a pretty distinct sound to me.

I don't think the ESINRQU on youtube is a track she lips to. It sounds like someone edited this one because you can hear the music slightly in the back.

That one is just the CD version edited to take the music out, it's nothing to do with the tour. Infact it was posted here on the forum and on YT before the tour even began.

Exactly, she doesn't lip this song. Anyway when she sings this song it's in a lower key than the CD :thumbsup2:

ok this is the right place to post this kind of old review of I Surrender.

"I Surrender" to Celine | Reviewer: Eric L. Watts | 12/5/04

Another fine example of the idiocy of record label music marketers: following in the tragic tradition of "She's A Star" by Barry Manilow and "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson, "I Surrender" is by far the best song on the album it appears on, and yet it went totally ignored by the boneheads who decide what songs on an album get released as singles to commercial FM radio stations. Celine Dion suffered a bit of overexposure after the phenomenal success of 1997's "My Heart Will Go On," and she's not quite yet been able to reach that same level of popularity with her musical releases since then. But had "I Surrender" been released in 2002 as a single from her "A New Day Has Come" CD, it definitely would have put her back on top and pushed "that song from titanic" into the footnotes. Celine puts the power back into "power ballad" with this extraordinary piece of work. Her vocal acrobatics have never been better and the louder the volume, the better she sounds.

The song itself speaks of an unrequited love, not unlike the classic Carpenters ode "Superstar," but whereas Karen Carpenter (and later, the velvety Luther Vandross) speak to their love with quiet and eloquent desperation, Celine throws herself at hers with an explosive passion that cannot be dismissed.

"I Surrender" should have been the title song on this album as well as its first release. This one song alone is worth the price of the whole CD and stands as one of her greatest vocal achievements.

Just noticed that her private jet is still on the same place if you believe the tracker. This for nearly 2 months now.

I'm starting to think that they blocked the registration from tracking... Just like other famous people did before them.

How annoying! Most of us have never heard GTSW live ever! Why would they dub it like this? They should have left it and included it on the DVD! :angry2:

thank god, now people can stop stalking her. :rolleyes: I don't think you should be able to track anyone's (celeb or not) plane or jet. There is no logical reason to do so and I'm sure it's not appreciated by the person your tracking. :whistling: I know if I was in her shoes I would find it creepy and unsettling and I wouldn't want it done. It's a bit of an invasion of privacy in my opinion. :ermm:
