I have a feeling it is 20 something. In an interview a while ago she talks about golf and says what her handicap is. It may have been the parkinson interview or a Rosie Odonnell one.

Ok, so the "new" song posted on the forum a few weeks ago, the My Heart Will Go On "remix" thing with just her voice and a piano. Obviously, her singing was taken from the My Heart Will Go On track from a CD. Now, when getting rid of all the other instrumentals and stuff, I don't know how they do it, but how come sometimes you can hear parts of it? It sounds like screeching or something? How does one go about getting rid of the background music but keeping her voice? You may not understand what I am asking...

I know what you're talking about, and I think I've read it asked before. I think it can only be done when there's an instrumental version of the song (like with s'il ne restait qu'un and mhwgo) but I'm not sure. My guess is that there is software that makes the instrumental track cancel out the other instrumental track, leaving only the voice (again, I don't know). But for all the "a capella" songs so far, all of them have a bit of the "screeching" music in certain points.

Not sure if this is a common known thing, does anyone hear a very strong similarity in the opening of the chorus between "When I need you" and Leonard Cohens "Famous blue raincoat"?

 

The melody in When I need you "When I need you, I just close my eyes and I'm with you, and all that I so want to give you, is only a heart beat away" and in Famous blue raincoat "Jane came by with a lock of your hair, she said that you gave it to her that night that you planned to go clear" is almost (if not) identical.

 

The similarity is even more striking in Leo Sayers than Celines recording.

I know in For Keeps that Rene took Rene-Charles out golfing ( I think) and he ended up getting hurt somehow and Celine got really mad at Rene. She wanted to know how it happened and he just shrugged it off and said "All athlete's get hurt." and she was really pissed and replied "He not an athlete, he's 3" and they had a fight about it.
