Interesting article quoting Jennifer Lopez about album sales (both her own and Mariah Carey's sales).

No mention of LMBTL or Celine (probably because LMBTL did well world wide, at the very least better than the albums discussed in the article). But , it's nice to see a non-fan saying these things! Plus, it's nice perspective.

I decided to listen to Kanye West's "My Dark Twisted Fantasy" album after a few years, and I totally forgot about the Dark Fantasy lyrics "Look like a fat booty Celine DIon" :giggle:

I decided to listen to Kanye West's "My Dark Twisted Fantasy" album after a few years, and I totally forgot about the Dark Fantasy lyrics "Look like a fat booty Celine DIon" :giggle:

So... I was digging through YouTube at Céline Christmas videos and I stumbled across this. I never knew the story about her partially writing "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day". And the voicemail message... It's SO great, sounds better then the original song. So much emotion!

She is so adorable! I love how she didn't even know she'd made it up and thought it was something she'd heard elsewhere.

 

If I recall correctly, this clip was from a VH1 special that aired in the half-hour leading up to Celine's CBS Christmas television special in '98. Not sure if it was a show that was directly related to the special, but I think it may have been. I probably still have it on VHS tape somewhere . . .

Literally what it says, he fantasizes about a woman who looks like Celine but ya know, with a bigger butt :giggle: I think he's also partially playing with it because I guess to the average person, it would be hard to imagine Celine with a bigger butt.

 

I know they both did the song for Haiti thing so maybe they talked? The album came out in November 2010 but the song for Haiti came out it February of that year I think?

It's a pretty great album , if you guys want to hear the line it's at 2:00 :)

It sounded like an insult to me, anything coming from him these days is especially after what he did to taylor thought i am NOT a fan. :P The caboose department? Is that a scientific term, LOL :laugh: Wow, thank you for sharing that video. I kinda like what we have a little bit more than that voicemail, but how cute. As a songwriter myself, I can tell you all it is very awkward-feeling to sing in to an answering machine. It just feels weird, like, odd. And how :( that she doesn't know if she can ever write again. I honestly wish she would. It was cute, yes, she thought it was someone else's song. She does hear a lot of music I am sure, and I bet she still gets melodies in her head sometimes. I hope so at least, she is just so multi-talented.

I was just listening to the Titanic version of MHWGO, and I couldn't help but think Celine's pitch sounds very high - not similar to the LTAL version. I know Celine's always said in interviews that she only sang the song once as a demo, but do we think they possibly rerecorded it for her album? The vocal track I mean, of course the orchestration is different.

 

I think they changed the pitch of her voice, you can tell she didn't sing it in that key in the studio.

 

The only thing that confuses me is the final "go on and oooooon" - she goes higher at the end of this line in the soundtrack version. Apart from the shift in pitch, this is the only noticeable difference between the soundtrack and album versions...

Small, yet curvy at the same time. People that are not Celine fans don't notice how nice Celine's bootie is. Without sounding to weird, Celine has a perfectly shaped, firm and lifted butt. I don't know how, after 3 kids but that bootie is so firm. When I saw her in Vegas as she walked past me in the audience, I couldn't help noticing her perfectly lifted bootie. It was perfection. Celine has the butt of a 20 year old!

You're right. It is perfection. All the photos where she wears tight jeans or leather pants, also the photo shoot a while back where she felt like being a little on the wild side. It was shot on the lawns of her Florida home. She wore that long sort of blonde wig, and she had a long woolen top on and she was showing her bootie off. Half her butt was'nt covered, and then those legs on top of it!! :wub: Don't know if she knew that she was raising most of her fans blood preasure with that shoot. :giggle:

I know. I love that photoshoot! That's when my mom took notice of her butt. LOL. When she's posing in the woolen top and underwear, she doesn't even have a under butt cleavage. If there is such a thing. That's what I call it. When the underneath of your butt meets your legs. Celine doesn't have under cleaving to her butt. "Seriously" LOL.

 

I don't even know how that is even possible without working out like crazy to lift your butt. I wish I was blessed with her body, but then again, maybe I don't because maybe then I wouldn't admire it so much. LOL.

The person who posted it, is actually Tink, so I believe her lol! Hopefully there will be pics because no way Celine can go about Disney world and not be noticed :)
