I think I am too old to appreciate Eminem and rap. I think its great that they don't sensor RC's choices of music. Just hope, like you said, chocolate chip that they talk with him about the message. Interesting for sure!

 

I don't think anyone is too old to appreciate any type of music...it's all one's personal taste. Personally speaking, I'm not a fan of Eminem. I think he's vulgar and rude. I do however respect his talent...the man can write a lyric. His construction of phrases is impeccable, no matter how awful in content they are. I was 12 or 13 when his first single was released...which was a fun song. I liked that one. His collaborations with Dido and Rihanna are pretty good too. But overall, I don't particularly care for him.

I love the last chorus, don't you??

I know, where the song like builds up, then everything stops completely for a couple of seconds, then the music is so powerful and she sings. I go mad in my car, I'm showing with my arm how the music stops and everything starts again, my family thinks I'm crazy, they just laugh at me, I can't help myself, ha ha!! I absolutely adore and LOVE that song. Silly me.

Les Red Heads have a screen shot up showing that the My Love Essential collection is number 4 on Germany's iTunes and was number 1 earlier in the day. It's crazy how albums will climb like that almost out of nowhere!

I think it's just a particular rule at the George V Hotel. I think the staff there just go above and beyond to make Celine feel comfortable because they know she likes to stay at that hotel and they want to make sure she keeps coming back, so they have that extra level of respect with her. That's my opinion anyways.

 

I don't think it's something Celine tells them to do, I think the staff just goes that extra mile to make her feel comfortable and respected as a loyal customer and high class celebrity.

I also think it's got to do with being respectful of the other guests staying there too and any body else around!

Like last year , Celine didn't arrive at her hotel until past midnight most nights. There's other guests sleeping. Local residents sleeping.

So I don't think it's anything Celine particularly asks , it's just the hotel doing a fantastic job for her and making sure their other guests are happy too!

It is something Celine requests actually! She doesn't want other guests to experience any inconvenience caused by shouting fans ;) And I think that's very sweet of her!

A lot of hotels do that (the posh ones). Usually its the evening/nighttime, to be considerate towards the other guests. After all they're paying too and they want them to come back again.

Speaking of NYC, I am watching the Macys Thanksgiving day parade and the broadway play Honeymoon in Vegas were just doing their thang, I was bored and staring at my phone and all of a sudden I hear, "lets go see Barbara or Ms. Celine Dion" I literally threw my phone and leaped off the couch, lmao.

Celine has said before that she would tour again, but it wouldn't be a huge tour like Taking Chances. I am hopeful that she will tour again after Vegas. Nelson and Eddy will be old enough to enjoy and understand it like RC when he went along with his mom and dad on tour. I'm sure Celine will want the twins to have the same opportunity RC had.

 

Celine has said before that she would raise Nelson and Eddy the same way she is raising RC and that she would do everything she did with RC when he was younger, so I'm sure it's a future plan already floating around in her head as a possibility.

One more from the David Q&A: He also said his favorite song in general that he's written is The Prayer, b/c it gets played at both weddings and funerals.

it is a great song, He is himself great. A song with so much hope and peace. and Celine had the chance to know the best writers, but she inspired them also. One can't go without the other.

Maybe someone should ask if he would still write for Céline? I'm gonna guess yes, maybe he would elaborate too. :)

 

Someone actually asked him that on the Facebook Q&A, as a double question (they asked: "will you ever write another song for Celine Dion and what's your fav song you have written for her?" He said fave song was All By Myself (which he didn't write, but produced), and didn't answer the other question :(). In that Q&A, he also said he thought Celine was the greatest female singer alive, so obviously he still loves her.

 

I think part of the problem may be that he works for Verve music group now and possibly can only write/produce for those artists. . I know that when he first took that job he said he couldn't produce for Charice any more b/c she was with a different record company (but could still do the live concerts with her).

Damn! Me too.......curse you work!!!! :angry: Interfering with my Celine activities!!!

 

It would be interesting to know why he is doing these Q&A's! ?

 

I would implore him to write/produce for Celine again.
