"Kathy Griffin: Strong Black Woman" premieres Tuesday, May 9 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Bravo.

It's not going to be a show WITH Céline. Kathy is just probably going to do a stand-up bit about Céline. Kathy probably got the privilege of brushing one of Céline's wigs and is adding it to her comedy repertoire. LOL!

and not only once.

And, significantly, although she’ll scratch and claw at Clay Aiken and Oprah and Celine Dion, she admits to loving them all. “One thing that bums me out is when celebrities don’t get that part of it,” she says. “I can understand that if you read something I say, and you’re Celine Dion, you might be kind of pissed. But I just went to see Celine Dion’s show in Vegas a month ago. Again!”

Theres a chance but I doubt it. Kathy's comedy specials are normally just her doing her stand up routine in a theater. She just stands there are rips on celebrities....its hilarious.

 

And yeah, she's a big Celine fan, but Kathy was never one to hold back and she'll have no problem making fun of her even if shes a big fan.

Griffin concluded with a convoluted tale about seeing Celine Dion in Las Vegas. Some gay friends had several items for Dion to sign before the show, which she graciously did. It was a stitch to hear Griffin imitate Dion’s accent and critique her show, which she said she loves.

 

That’s what keeps Griffin’s act interesting. Like any good humorist, she generally likes the people she skewers and she pokes fun at herself, too. She’s also pretty good with impressions, particularly one of Dr. Phil and Larry King talking to a Hurricane Katrina victim.

 

Didn’t get to see Griffin last night? Her new special, Strong Black Woman, will premiere at 9 p.m. May 9 on Bravo.

I just watched the show, it's freaking hilarious like Tal said, Kathy has no trouble making fun of Celine. She tells the story of how she and the guy met Celine, the backstage meet and greet part is hysterical. This is all I'm saying for now, see/hear it for yourself later!
