Yeah, I can understand that you want to avoid duplicates but the least you could do would be to inform the authors why their thread was refused.

something different:

in Holland we have this television show called "fans". In every episode a different fan is featured about being a fan and what this person does about his/her idol. In my opinion fans, in this show, are shown like crazy people, who are stupid and mentally challenged. I think this way of portraying a fan makes people think fans are idiots. Not normal people.

It hurts me, especially since I've met some people who are fan (and like myself) are really just normal people, who have jobs, kids, a relationship, an education.

Have you guys been confronted with this stereotype as well?

Yayyyyyy! I love the questions chosen for Celine! We'll finally find out abt chips she eats, her frog gift fetish, more about her dog Charlie and if she is still having dinner with Rene alone!!!!!!!!

It was specifically stated that the questions were to be non business related - the sort of thing you'd ask about at a friendly dinner party. Many of us here love Celine the person beyond the music, and I AM excited about these questions.

no but, seriously, yeah i am disapointed and i hope u can see why, just a little. The forum members finally get the chance to ask her questions, and we end up with these. Music is not necessarily business. Music is her life. Music is her passion. It would have been nice to hear her talk about her passion for once, and read the answers to what the biggest fans really want to know. The whole forum gets super excited when ever an interviewer ask her music questions, and that's rare.

And btw we all know her answer to that receipy question. 2 words: crock pot.

EDIT: and no offense to people who came up with these questions, they are very creative and yes they really do have nothing to do with music. (i still don't see whats wrong with music questions, we didnt ask anything like: "do you think sony could increase album sales by doing this or that or this" but w-e)

They had a show like that years ago on MTv called "Fanatic." They did an episode with Celine.

A crock pot is a pot that can cook an entire meal on a slow setting. Perfect for people that work an dont have time to cook when they get home. You can make spaghetti sauce, soups, stews, pot roast...all kinds of things.

It is Barbeque Lays. It was mentioned somewhere a long time back. They are very very nice. Any Lays chips are yummy. My favorite make if crisps.

Why do people get SO annoyed with off-topic comments? I have been following threads and reading comments in this forum for like 2 years now and I have NEVER been irritated by off-topic posts. Sometimes these posts are more interesting than those that stick to the topic.

luked i totally 100% agree w/ you about this as well... i really think that sometimes being a little bit off topic in these discussions isnt the biggest deal ever, at least as long as celine is mentioned and most of the time she still is... and since right now theres no news about celine going on at the current time, why not have these different conversations to pass the time, that are still on topic about celine since her name is still being mentioned in the conversations... that way we all can still talk about her in this forum while we wait for any news to come our way soon (and lord knows when that will be really lol)...

 

cuz lets face the cold, hard facts here folks: theres most likely not gonna be any news about celine for a loooooong time coming up, except for maybe a few exceptions here and there (which would be cool if there were more events happening of course):

 

1. any information regarding her vegas shows (since some people here recently in this forum have said that celine goes back to vegas tomorrow or on some other day this week)...

 

2. or if she does do some other projects or something (which probably wont be for a long time im afraid since the promo for the lmbtl album has long been finished since well it has been 3 months ago since its release and lets face it, at least here in the usa, that lmbtl has been long gone dead for a while now, and i really dont think that releasing the video for incredible, if sony even decides to release it after all btw, is gonna help the lmbtl album come back to life in the usa (yes pun is intended sorry lol)... im really hoping they will of course i wanna see it, but im not gonna hold my breath on that cuz we know how things go w/ sony when it comes to celines music lol)... and since celine doesnt have any new projects for anytime soon, or at least any that i have read or heard about and i get most news from this forum, its fairly safe to say now that this forum will probably be mostly dead for a long time lol, and then we will have to be "loved back to life" whenever there is any news of celine that comes our way lol... (and yes the pun is intended again lol, sorry but i just had to, thats just the goofball in me lol and yes im a little bored and goofy this morning its my day off from work today woohoo yay lol)... have a good day, my peeps lol... :) :)

Why do people get SO annoyed with off-topic comments? I have been following threads and reading comments in this forum for like 2 years now and I have NEVER been irritated by off-topic posts. Sometimes these posts are more interesting than those that stick to the topic.

my thought on this is that some people have things going on I their lives and they need to complain about something so they jump on the smallest issues possible. I say if you don't like the off topic posts skip over them.

What is the difference between regular and classic lol?

I've only seen the original BBQ bag in her car and on the plane. RC had some Salt and Vinegar by his bed (or I'm assuming it was his bed) on Oprah lol. It's funny the things you recognize.

one bag is black while the other is orange. Several years ago they changed the flavour of the BBQ chips and then a few years later brought back the original flavour so they now have 2 kinds. At least they have 2 kinds over here.
