I went onto the Celine Dion PT site last night, and there they are mentioning something about Celine, and 3rd May, that she will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil? I don't know, maybe someone can just see what they are talking about? I don't understand the language. Thanks, would appreciate it.

I've just noticed that the same day that "Loved Me Back To Life" (album) was certified Platinum in the UK, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" was also certified Gold for over 400,000 copies sold since 29th July 1996.

Hi there, now I don't know if you are serious or just teasing me, ha ha!! But anyway, no I've never panned for gold. I don't think normal public are allowed to. There are of course the proper legal gold mines, where South Africa gets their gold from. But last week, illegal miners were caught in some shaft, about 20 of them, and they were arrested. Would be nice if a person could pan for a bit of gold hey? Would buy Celine's Florida home, in my dreams.

I didn't realise the laws were so strict. Here you can pan and metal detect as long as you're not on someones claim. Some people go into the old mine shafts, not me. Edited by brujocrow

No, we are not allowed to do anything like that here, unfortunately. Am watching the closing ceremony of the winter Olympics live. Now we will see if Incredible will be played. Wow, it looks absolutely stunning, phew, it's beautiful in the stadium.

It's a funny story, actually. I have been to one show, but I wasn't half the fan I am today. I didn't get a chance to interact with any fans, but to answer your question, yes I have gone to one and the people I went with, while it was a very gracious and generous birthday gift trom them,I will never go back with them. So I must go again!

Is anyone buying the book, "Shades of Elvis"? Céline is amongst 75 people photographed. I seem to recall someone writing about this awhile back.The photo of Céline looks great. All photos are in b&w.

If I recall correctly the guy who was the photographer of this it was his wife who was the "Celine stand-in" for the desert shots of "Celine" in the PAMP video

Apparently René had a cancerous tumor removed in December.

It's in French so my translation/assumption that it was a cancerous tumor might be off

 

Journal de Montreal confirms the report.

 

Edit: it was indeed cancerous throat surgery

Wow. In December of this year? That's crazy. I hope and pray he is doing well now.

It just proves you never have any idea what someone is going through. I just read through the article, and I was glad to see the surgery went well.

René is recovering at home in Las Vegas after undergoing a throat cancer surgery in December. Celine Dion has always been by his side all this time! We wish Rene a fast recovery
