I think she really is about 5ft 7in because when she wears heels she is usually around Rene's height and I read somewhere that is like 6ft tall, so that would allow for the crazily tall heels she always wears.

I havent been next to her but I've heard she is 5''7 but some say she is 5''5 - it's a mystery hehe. But that does make sense about her being about 6ft with heels on - which is Rene's height. Why doesn't someone call her and ask? lol

I've seen her in person, but not met her in person... 5' 7" sounds about right to me...and if that's what she says, I'm going to believe her, because I highly doubt that any of us have got out a ruler and measured her!!

I'm 5'2" and she hugged me after a concert and she had to bend down a little but she was wearing heels... she wasn't like extremely tall but i think 5'7" is a pretty good estimate but she wears pretty high heels and if they were like 3 inch heels i think 5'10" seems a little bit too tall. idk

I think she is much shorter than is commonly thought. From the moment I stood next to the wax figure in Vegas, I too have wondered how tall she really is. Because I knew she was not as tall as that wax figure, I barely made it to her shoulder! So the first time I came face to face with her, I found out we are about the same height. I am about 5'3-5'4, but at the time I was also wearing heels. So was she, much taller than mine, and we were head to head. Then the second time (see my avatar) we were again about the same height, both in heels, hers again taller than mine.

Also I don't understand why Celine looks taller than other women that are 5'6. Celine is taller than Kate Winslet and Oprah Winfrey and they are 5'6.

The numbers I've heard most often are 5'7, so that's what I think. I guess that's something around 170 cm and that would sound about right, though I haven't met Céline either, but she looks like her height could be about 170 cm, which isn't crazy tall, but not short either.

Also on the A New Day DVD when she is with her fans, she looks taller than almost all of her fans. I really thought that she was around 5'8.

5'8 is tall for a woman. I just thought that for years Celine looked like she was 5'8. I see tall women all the time that are 5'8-5'11. Celine just appears to be 5'8 for some reason. Also when I see pictures of Celine with other people like celebrities or her fans she is taller than them most of the time.

She actually isn't that tall i would say she's probably about 5 foot three. Now with heels it depends on how big the heels are

 

She's definately taller than that, isn't she??

I was shocked too. Even now I see her on TV, and she still looks tall to me. But like I said, I am about 5'4-5'5 with heels on, and I was the same height as her when she had 2"+ heels on! I would assume barefoot, she's not over 5'5.

I read an article a few years ago and have always wondered if it is true. The article was titled: ''Celine Dion hit by pain, but does show.'' It said something about Celine being hit by severe abdominal pains minutes before she was suppose to do a show and was rushed to hospital. It also said that sources claimed that Celine was hit with appendicitis, that she asked for a pain reliever, did the show and dashed right back to had her appendix removed.

 

Does anyone know if this is true? Because if it is true, Celine is a trouper.

Not sure. Doubt it if that's true cos she would have been in danger performing with that condition. If her appendix had burst I know while in Vegas she had a hernia - that's all i remember.

OKAY, so i think she puts flats on at the end of some shows.. because in the video of her hugging me, it looks like she barely taller than me.. and i'm 5'2" maybe 5'3" on a good day.. and I was wearing heels.. so.. I would put her at 5'5" when she hugged me at the end of the show.. BUT in my meet and greet photo.. shes a good few inches taller than me and I was wearing the same shoes... hmmm.

I remember her being pretty short too. I'm also 5'2 and I remember her being only a little bit taller than me. Of course, that whole moment is a blur....so I could have totally just forgot she was squatting down to get to my height lol

 

 

As for the stomach pain, I remember reading something about it in My Story My Dream, that she went to the hospitol and everything and took a few weeks off, but I think she said it was just from stress and worrying. Nothing serious.
