Just some randomness. This came up on Google News. It was amusing for about 5 minutes, but the comments are a little disturbing. Please tell me nobody actually thinks Celine would do cocaine or take too many pain pills? :huh: Not that I believe it, I just thought it was odd since I never heard anyone say that about Celine before.

I know Celine has said that she tried Cocaine once with some friends(I think in Holland), and she got nothing from it, no buzz or anything. Never heard anything about pain pills, that sounds a little too outrageous.

NO NO not even close... it was Marijuana(which is legal there) that she tried, a puff once many years ago, not Cocaine, NOT Cocaine of course NOT. And NO Céline doesn't take drugs. :xmas_rolleyes:

She's addicted to performing.. :bananadance: but of course that's another story.. :lol:

She still always does that strange such of movements after All By Myself. Which involves her hitting her chest with both fists like an ape? lmao.

Or I could be wrong on that? Idk.

I really think she may have got self consious about the chest pounding, cause she was getting such a slagging about it. She just used to always do it and now I just never see her doing it. :xmas_sad: Maybe her chest was getting bruised!!! :xmas_huh:

How many of you would follow Celine if she changed the style of music she sang? For instance, if she moved from Pop/Rock/Easy Listening to let's say

1. Contemporary Christian/Gospel

2. Jazz

3. New Age

4. Alternative

5. Heavy Metal

6. R&B or Hip Hop

7. Country/Bluegrass

(If I left something out, just add it)

It's not really a question of how good she would sound at performing the style (I'm sure she would be great). It's just a curiosity as to how many would remain in her fan base if she did it.

ME!!! defo w.e she sings will sound good because she carnt change the sound of her distinktive voice that is great! what ever style she sings doesnt change who she is. she has also sang many different styles over the years an she has always pulled them off, although i dont think heavy metal is celine at all lol.

What ever she sings ill be listening and singing to it thats for sure!

So I was surfing YouTube the other day when I came across I'm Alive and My Heart Will Go On. Both were from different performances other then the DVD. I was wondering when each the Travel Channel and Lifetime performances were and what other songs were broadcast.

And also, there was another song (TLYM) with her and Taro in it. What was that broadcasted for? When and Where? And what other songs?

I'd absolutly love Celine to do some Heavy Metal stuff, Alternative stuff and Jazz stuff. It'd be interesting to see her do Country/Bluegrass stuff, i'm sure she could pull it off. I'd wanna see her dabble in R&B and Hip-Hop, maybe a few songs, but I don't want it to become her career like Mariah has done and become a sell-out.

yeah i dont really remember seeing her hit her chest very much on tour but i remember her saying that ever since the first time she hit her chest its like the fans expect it and she does it cuz she just feels the song so much sometimes and thats a way she can show how much she's into that song.. i love when she talked about how she hit her chest singing MHWGO @ the oscars in '98 with the titanic necklace on and she like hurt her herself and almost broke the necklace :sofunny:

Thats mad, I did see her in one interview saying she hits her chest as she feels so much emotion and then she wants t do it again but thinks to herself "Hold on a sec, You just did it girlfriend, people will think your exagerating if you do it again" :xmas_laugh: That interview was hilarious!!!!

:sofunny: if you do cocaine you're bound to get a buzz any how!! :doh: :giggle:

Céline had a zip of a joint (cannabis) but I don't think you can actually feel anything after one puff. and I think it must have been in 1997 or 1996, cos if she did it in 1999 it would have been brought out in the press everywhere!

btw just to get it clear; here cocaine is just as illegal as anywhere, only cannabis is semi-legal here

Are you thinking of the video Rene and many others who work with Celine/friends/family made her? They're all singing a french song that (i think) was shown on a tv program - maybe before her break??? Can't remember.
