Darren : Have you managed to catch Celine on her current ''Taking Chances - World Tour'', or do you plan to..... to see her perform ''My Love'' live?

Linda : I planned to see her in Europe, but it didn't work out, but I do plan to see her during the U.S leg of the tour. I have seen a live version of the song though, and I have to say its much better, its more suitable for her.

I will go to Paris on april,but I was there few years ago,you can find her cds and dvd at Virgin music store on Avenue Champs Elysees.

You'll love Paris. You can go the Grévin Museum, where Celine and René's wax statues are. You can go to Virgin Stores, visit FNAC Stores and buy up everything you want... lol... I almost got a poster at Virgin. :giggle:

Does anyone know where I can find the "A New Day" the slow version from the A New Day show on CD or professional recording, or is it anywhere for download in the forum?

Question: In every picture I see of the opening of Celine's show, when it show's the city's name, it looks as if the name is split up over the corner of the box. But when I went to my concert and look at my videos of it, it looks like it is on the side of the box, and just split over the two side screens and doesn't run over the corner. I don't know if you understand what I am saying, but it is a trick of the eye, and makes you think that, and designed that way, but when you take a picture you can see the real thing???? I was so confused when I saw the first picture, but now I see them all the time and it looked different at the two shows I went to!

I know what you mean, I'm pretty positive that its split and since the stage is in the round maybe thats why they did it. I have seen some pictures where they only show one side of the screen and it looks something like this

The text on the corners is supposed to be backwards when you look at the side of the box because when the screen lifts, the corner panels come together to make a flat screen. If the text read correctly on the side of the box, when the corners opened, you'd get a backwards name. Here's an example of how they should work:

If you watch the screen you'll see the text makes sense when the panels lift and the corners open out and make a flat screen. I've seen a couple of vids where the intro video was not aligned properley and the side of the box was showing two halfs of the video instead of the whole thing seamlessly together, like this show:

It has to do with supersticious Celine I think. But she got a froggy in one of her very first live performances. (i think it was in tokyo when she won the song festival) And she kept it for many years in her dressing room.

Arriving back in Quebec was unforgettable. At the Montreal airport, a crowd was waiting for me with flowers, teddy bears, and velvet frogs. TV cameras were pointed at me and microphones were thrust toward me. My brother Paul had brought us the newspapers. All of them were talking about the grand prize I'd won in Tokyo.

How tall is Celine? Only those of you that have seen her in person would know the truth. How tall is she? Also I would like to know how tall she is when she is in heels. Can those of you that have seen her in person tell me the truth?

She actually isn't that tall i would say she's probably about 5 foot three. Now with heels it depends on how big the heels are

She is definitly taller than that, about 5'7. Shania Twain is 5'4 and Céline is taller than her.
