Tyler you will probably like this question: When Celine started performing again in December last year after she had that respiratory infection, she changed some of the belts to ''holy sh#t'' high notes (like in ''River Deep Mountain High'' ) in Phoenix and Los Angeles. So I've been wondering if she did it because it was less painful than it would have been if she sang it like she usually does (considering she just had an infection)? Because to me the notes in Phoenix and LA sound more difficult to hit. Or am I wrong?

 

I've actually wondered that same thing myself... I think the regular F5 is in mixed voice (?).....and the Bb5 was in head voice....when I'm sick and try to sing my chest voice is terrible. I can't hold notes even close to as long as before, and I can't raise or lower my voice at all. While my head voice isn't much better, I do find it easier to sing from that then I do my chest. Another thing, I can't really whistle much, but when I was sick I was whistling like Mariah...it was effortless and just came out.....now I'm not sick and it's really hard to do that.

 

We need to ask her this if we ever get a chance... With Celine it is difficult to tell, because she can sing pretty well even if she is sick... My feeling is that it was less painfull and not necessarily easier, but I'm no expert, so who knows. She did sound a bit croaky to me in LA though.

Anyway, I don't think there are any recent pics of her wearing glasses. Just sunglasses. But I can tell you that she would wear designers like Prada, Chanel, Burberry, Tom Ford, YSL, Fendi, Lanvin, and Ray-Ban.

 

If you wanna have something Celine has, sunglasses are good. I have a couple pairs that she also has.

 

I personally think seeing glasses are more important than that, and you should buy a pair based on what looks best on you, and what is most comfortable. I always buy nicer glasses because they're an accessory that I wear everyday.

Just a question that maybe no one can answer or wants to answer:

 

Why are all the google alerts I get about Celine so negative? All of the writers of these articles seem to take "pot shots" at her without any reason. I've been trying to adjust how I receive the alerts but I forgot my password. I'd rather not receive anything from them if all they're going to do is talk down about her.

Yes it is! They are the official people out of Vegas that were allowed to cut up the floor and distribute it, that's where I got mine from!

So I posted this on the other topic, too, but I found a Chic combo set at Walmart today with a Bonus Live recordings CD (5 songs) and it has Taking Chances tour photo packaging- I could only see I'm Alive and My Love on the track listing because of how the packaging was. This may sound really off the wall, but I had a dream that you sent something to Celine via Rene-Charles school and she got it. You posted the news on the forum and the address of the school (not that you really would out of respect for their privacy). I remember seeing the front of the school and security being present keeping people with no official business their off of the campus.

 

Never had a dream like that before
