Jeanette Posted February 7, 2019 at 08:41 AM Posted February 7, 2019 at 08:41 AM JLo and Miley Cyrus as possible special guests seems so odd. They must be on her new album if that's the case but even that seems too wierd. The special guests are just support acts on throughout the course of the day before the main headliners at night. They don’t need to have any connection to the main act at all. I wouldn’t imagine Celine will have any involvement with them other than The Prayer with Andrea Boceli if this line up is to be believed. Quote
Jeanette Posted February 7, 2019 at 08:43 AM Posted February 7, 2019 at 08:43 AM I thought Paint didn't exist anymore Well it certainly wasn’t by my hand. I’m sceptical too but did think it was a random list of names so you never know. There will definitely be a few well known acts thrown in as is always the case with these types of festivals. 1 Quote
Xpresso Posted February 7, 2019 at 12:43 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 12:43 PM Come on, I doubt Dua, Miley or JLo would actually perform before Celine's show... Doesn't make much sense to me! Quote
Ukrfan Posted February 7, 2019 at 02:42 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 02:42 PM This lineup is circulating around the internet, saw it on Celine’s fb page under the event duscussions. Is this just wishful thinking cos it seems a too good to be true lineup of support acts. I’d say this would help shift a fair few more tickets if it is real. We know Claire Richards is a definite and I know Belina Carlisle is in London for a charity event the previous evening so she would certainly make sense. CelinesDIVO5 Posted February 7, 2019 at 03:13 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 03:13 PM Not to mention, that JLo and Bocelli are headliners in their own right. Why would they be performing on the same night as Celine? 1 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

His own fanbase and Céline's count many common people. Quote

Not part of a festival, people dont commonly go to see Celine type artists at festivals, let alone an opera singer Quote
Jeanette Posted February 7, 2019 at 06:30 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 06:30 PM (edited) Yeah that was an Andrea Bocelli show. Not part of a festival, people dont commonly go to see Celine type artists at festivals, let alone an opera singer But this festival is being headlined by Celine Dion so the support acts announced will be carefully considered to suit Celine’s fan base. I don’t know what the infatuation is with repeatedly saying ‘it’s a festival’...it’s just a day of live music acts and anyone performing/attending will just treat it as a live performance. I certainly didn’t. BST is not your average festival, it’s the ones where you camp over the weekend and there’s drugs and all sorts going on that I would class as a real festival. Quote

Jeanette Posted February 7, 2019 at 06:47 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 06:47 PM Take a look at last years line up with Michael Buble. Is Van Morrison not what some would consider a headliner in his own right, and you can see the acts announced here have been chosen to appeal to an adult contemporary market as is Michael himself. It’s not as if they announced some weird indie rock group in the same line up. Lets wait and see who gets announced but I would be very surprised if we don’t get at least another couple of well known acts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Bruno Portugal Posted February 7, 2019 at 07:09 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 07:09 PM I would love Celine to have special guests like Adele (presenting their duet single together), Elton John, Emeli Sande, Labrynt and Sam Smith... DREAMING! 2 Quote My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION
Shamrock_1982 Posted February 7, 2019 at 07:24 PM Posted February 7, 2019 at 07:24 PM Who ever her special guests are they don’t have to be, but they like them to be signed to the same label as the headliner as it makes things a bit easier. Celine and Clare have the same label and marketing manager at Sony UK for example 1 Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted February 12, 2019 at 03:29 PM Posted February 12, 2019 at 03:29 PM They should do an intro video again.. just like in Taking Chances Tour and do a promo video like this.. 4 Quote
joaofilho Posted February 12, 2019 at 06:48 PM Posted February 12, 2019 at 06:48 PM I just hope Celine sells enough to be Sold Out, I looked at the festival's official website and Michael Loop was not exhausted, the others all went.I hope that Celine makes history in this festival, maybe who knows not to record a dvd. 1 Quote
ordinary fan Posted February 13, 2019 at 07:13 PM Posted February 13, 2019 at 07:13 PM does anyone know how it sells so far? The tickets are expensive, but that says nothing, if we look to the 2017 european summer tour Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted February 14, 2019 at 08:18 AM Posted February 14, 2019 at 08:18 AM Well, she can sing this song live with studio instrumentals. I think this better 1 Quote

I see a very clear similarity in quality. I think it's official Saw Mariah's tour promotion in town this week. Funny how even she (even though it made here look like she has a different job with all the red lights) has a proper design en style for her tours and projects. Painful that actually everybody does better than our Team Celine Quote

jolo87 Posted February 18, 2019 at 04:38 PM Posted February 18, 2019 at 04:38 PM It's Adele lol ... this whole thing is just promo for her Fall 2019 album release ... Celine will take advantage of Sony's desire to take advantage of her until the moment they drop her album right after the "surprise" duet in London, knowing full well it will always be "Celine featuring Adele" ... 1 Quote

Nmj Posted February 19, 2019 at 11:41 PM Posted February 19, 2019 at 11:41 PM Dubai is part of (one of the 7 member Emirates) the United Arab Emirates (federal State like the USA, Germany or Switzerland) which capital is Abu Dabi. Same region as Saudi Arabia (a neighbour actually), but different State 😉 Agree: doing a concert there could send a wrong message as their human rights record is appalling. Why punish the innocent fans and people who LOVE Celine because the governments less than stellar record? That’s not fair, singing in a country doesn’t mean you have to agree with their laws or politics. Having been to the Middle East multiple times I can say that the region totally adore Celine, very very common to hear her music on loop in the restaurants, clubs, banks, lounges, etc. 2 Quote
