Why punish the innocent fans and people who LOVE Celine because the governments less than stellar record?

That’s not fair, singing in a country doesn’t mean you have to agree with their laws or politics.

 

Having been to the Middle East multiple times I can say that the region totally adore Celine, very very common to hear her music on loop in the restaurants, clubs, banks, lounges, etc.

 

I agree, the people should not be punished over their leaders' politics. However, if Celine chooses to perform in a country with a bad human rights record, she should take a stand publicly. She should use her status to highlight these infractions and promote human rights, peace and equality, and definitely not go and bow down to MBS and the likes.

I wish Celine was on the Brit Awards tonight and doing a greatest hits medley/20 years of Titanic and do some promo for Hyde Park. She could have received a special award or something just for the sake of it (dreaming, I know)

It would be nice for sure but as she never got brit award I don´t think it's real for Céline to get special award from them.

She was nominated from 1996 to 1998 as best int female singer, but only Titanic as best sountrack won in 1999.

According to the Viagogo site, only 3% of the tickets are available, if this is true, it is great, but I do not know if this site is reliable.

 

 

I doubt that Barbra wants to sing with Celine, at Celine's show, there may be an invitation for Celine to sing a duet at the Barbra show, but I find it difficult. Barbra is very egocentric, I remember the story in 1998, René invited her to sing with Celine and she would only accept if she sang at least 5 songs, the show was not her, so there was a refusal.

More would be epic if this duet happened.

 

Sobvre the show, I hope Celine does an energetic show, with many mpusicas up temp and their ballads too. Make an unforgettable show, maybe you will not see a DVD.
