One of the reasons I like YouTube Music is because its included with YouTube Premium so I dont have to watch ads on YouTube.

Makes me wonder why do some of you listen through other platforms instead Spotify?

 

I listen to everything on Spotify and never invested time to see if other platforms would suit me more.

I'm curious why some of you prefer others?

You should be able to listen to full songs if you have an account. It only plays clips if you’re not logged in. Maybe you were signed out?

 

Celine can take all of the help she can get to increase play counts on all platforms!

I've mentioned this before... but I think a lot of Celine's audience from the 90s either still listen to CDs or listen to something like satellite radio now. That's the case for my mom and sister, at least. They were huge Celine fans in the 90s and now they don't stream any of her music.

I think that’s so interesting because streaming is so convenient. I grew up with CDs but I can’t imagine ever going back to listening to them.

Since most french people don't listen on spotify for example, it would be interesting if all fans who do streaming would use one platform to combine the streams. Would be interesting to make a real top 25 list in english and french to know which songs are most loved by the more younger generations in general.

Maybe someone will find a way to get all the numbers from all platforms and can combine them

Not just in the US, in the whole world. By far.

 

I know sales are probably much lower in the US due to Sony policy, but even then its success was outstanding in terms of radio rotation and awards (and album sales, of course).

Why are the streams of some older songs are counted for the album too like of all by myself, courage and a new day has come. But for that's the way it is and where does my heart beat now that's not the case.

 

For iacbtmn I get it because it's a completely new version (length wise) but all the other songs are the original studio tracks without any differences in length or something else...
