So glad that IMAAOCD released as a song on Spotify. Before that, I still remember that this song was a "rare" one only found in Youtube. But I don't know why If I Can Dream (in the album The Best of Celine Dion and David Foster) has been deleted on Spotify

It's so popular on TIKTOK. But it has nothing impact on Spotify ,

The number of I'm Alive is still under 100k. What a pity, I hope its Spotify will increase rapidly.

I think Kworb tracks the top 200 or whatever each streaming platform builds their charts on to build their Global Digital Artist Ranking, they don't track every single stream. Neither Celine or Mariah are in the Spotify top 200 list, so neither get points from that platform. But Celine is trending in the top 100 TikTok in many countries, so she gets many points from there.

 

Also the Spotify monthly listeners can be misleading. Mariah benefits from being in many Christmas playlists, so every time the song plays to a different person listening to that playlist it will count as her monthly listener but it doesn't mean that person is a fan or is streaming other Mariah songs. Celine might have only 17M monthly listeners but if they stream her a lot because they are actually fans listening to her she might have more streams than other artists with more monthly listeners.

 

If AIWFCIY doesn't lose popularity or they don't change how streams are counted as record sales, Mariah might outsell even Madonna
