Oh so in that case there will be lots of torrent files for this movie. Maybe they will release the digital version (iTunes) the same month

I have rewatched it at home last night. Yes, you can already find it online in perfect quality. There will be a last screening for the Red Heads in Paris with Valérie Lemercier and Victoria Sio, and the DVD included in the price.

I was less interested by the third third of the movie and especially the last scene which arrives with no build-up. A build-up could have made the scene a lot more emotional.

Valerie Lemercier brought The Red Heads out of the Parisian catacombs :giggle:

“At the time of our interview, Dion herself hadn’t seen the film, although she gave her blessing to the project. And she said the filmmaker got at least one detail right.

“She said the shoes were good,” says Lemercier. “That was a very important detail.””

There’s plenty of information on the US release in this very thread.

So, was this movie eligible for Oscar nominations this year? I guess right? Since it got nominated for the Cesars.

Well, it needs to first be theatrically released in the US, so not eligible for anything until then. But in any case, most Anglo critics have it in the “cult classic” or “so-bad-it’s-good” category. Let’s hope it doesn’t end up with a Razzie!

Anyway, here’s another review, this time from New Zealand.

I called out Anglo critics a long time ago even before knowing their reaction, becaue I knew what it would be. I write this without having yet read the NZ review.
