A surgery operation doesn't understand of professional deadlines or when it has to be done so she's ready to be back to work on time (and thank God it doesn't!), be your name Céline Dion or Mr Smith I highly doubt they're scheduling such a delicate thing depending on her Vegas calendar, and doing that rushed or pressured on that would be the most stupid thing imo. I'm sure Vegas schedule is the last thing they're thinking about right now, and going through this surgery with the best possible outcome so that her voice remains intact and not affected is the main priority, beyond anything else.

 

It will be done when it has to be done, and after all the medical procedures and protocols it requires, same as the post-operative period.

If anything shes far more likely to cancel the May-June vegas leg to ensure she is fit and ready. Apart from that surgery isnt 100% guaranteed to work however thats in the case of general medical practitioners. Where as Celine can afford to pay upwards of $1,000,000 to get the best surgeries in the world and the best doctors. My best is she shes having the surgery very soon, no later than April 10th, to ensure she has the full month to recover if she does plan on going through with the May-June leg of Vegas shows. And its more than likely going to be cancelled as well as its very important that she does this tour. It would be AWFUL if she cancelled again in Asia and Aus/NZ would be gutted as you can tell how hyped they are. Im just hoping Celine gets through it

My exact point she needs to be confident in herself and her best interests because now Its either do them all or dont do them at all. It sounds harsh but this is the way she’s portrayed now and its sad. As someone during A New Day who hardly EVER cancelled and was doing like 150 shows a year.... like come on

Im not doing this from my point as a fan, im realistically looking at it as im sure her entire team are because they cannot afford more cancellations at her expense. If it were up to me id do an indefinite postponement of all Vegas/tour dates until she knows for certain that shes fit, healthy and back at 100% Celine strength

the asian tour curse .... haha... it sounds so horrible... but could be a true thing....

 

i was so devastated when she had to cancel it the first time around... but of course she had to... she had to be rene's side...

 

if she does cancel it this time again... she might just need to reschedule... but she is still in contract with vegas so it might mean another 1-2 or even 3 year wait again....

 

im already preparing myself for the best... or worst news ... just fyi... i want to go see her in singapore... and singapore and macau are the only 2 dates that the prices and pre sales are still not even announced yet... still crossing my fingers... and hoping for the best... this would really be a dream come true....

 

if i do get to see her..... i would have seen all 3 vocal trinities.... whitney , mariah and celine...

WHY Celine Dion Didn't Want to Tell Fans About Her Ear Surgery (Exclusive)

 

Celine Dion had to cancel three weeks of upcoming Las Vegas performances last month in order to undergo ear surgery, and a source tells ET that the singer was very reluctant to tell fans she was suffering from a medical issue.

“She worries she is letting them down,” the source says.

“Celine is guarded and private about her personal health," the source adds. "She doesn't like to complain, but she was having a very hard time."

Dion's team announced on Facebook on March 21 that the iconic sing has been dealing with a condition in her middle ear known as Patulous Eustachian tube, which causes hearing irregularities and makes it extremely difficult to sing. As a result, she had to cancel performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from March 27 to April 18 to undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure.

According to the source, it hasn’t been easy for Dion to be sidelined with an ear condition, since it’s keeping her from what she loves most: performing. She is scheduled to resume performances on May 22.

“Her ear condition got so bad, she has no choice but to take care of it," the source notes. "Her hearing has been affected for more than a year, so this surgery has been a long time coming. Her friends feel that once she gets back out on the stage to perform, she'll feel better. This is situational and she has many shows ahead of her and time to shine.”

Dion turned 50 years old last Friday, and celebrated by giving fans a one-of-a-kind look at her incredible life. The singer's team took to Facebook to share a sweet video paying tribute to Dion with never-before-seen family photos.

2. Celine has to transport a 31 peice orchestra, her entire family, RC’s friends.

 

3. Mariah made her prices that low because her last asian concerts barely sold when they were at Celines prices and they flopped

 

4. Celine is a far more in demand act, so they will pay more to book her so they need profit after paying for Celine

 

5. From what we can tell Mariah will have a bigger venue than Celine so her tickets will cost less as shes got more seats

Bigger venue? Maybe smaller venue.. Look at her Japan concert this October.. Chuo Gymnasium.

Yes I’m wondering also. I’ve had 11 ear surgeries myself... I talked as soon as the general anesthesia wore off and they weren’t affected. Sure they weren’t as delicate at this surgery, but still.
