I was worried they would trot out another Aussie X Factor alum which would have been fine but not special. Can’t wait to see her! July 28 cannot come fast enough!! celinesounds Posted March 25, 2018 at 09:36 PM Posted March 25, 2018 at 09:36 PM Do you think she is going to cancel the tour? Quote #FREEJAVITO
Ororo Munroe Posted March 25, 2018 at 10:51 PM Posted March 25, 2018 at 10:51 PM Do you think she is going to cancel the tour?. To be honest, if the surgery does not work... the tour will be cancelled. It seems to be more than serious, 14 shows cancelled, Caesar lost more than 30 millions of dollars... 2 Quote
brendanm999 Posted March 26, 2018 at 01:48 AM Posted March 26, 2018 at 01:48 AM (edited) . To be honest, if the surgery does not work... the tour will be cancelled. There’s nothing about that to intimate a “more than serious” issue. That being said, hopefully everything goes well and time will tell. Edited March 26, 2018 at 01:48 AM by brendanm999 1 Quote

brendanm999 Posted March 26, 2018 at 03:04 AM Posted March 26, 2018 at 03:04 AM What does Minimally invasive surgery means? Is it less risky? It's surgery done with the least amount of incisions possible which makes it the least traumatic to the body. 1 Quote

It seems to be more than serious, 14 shows cancelled, Caesar lost more than 30 millions of dollars... How has Caesar's lost $30 million? She'll likely end up making the shows up at a later date. But regardless, Celine "only" grosses circa $700,000 per night - the most they've directly lost from the show is around $10 million. Plus, reputation, too. Us here at CDF know Celine doesn’t cancel all the time, but to the casual fan, it may seem that way. There are already people saying they’ll never buy tickets to her shows now. That is lost revenue, too. Also, loss of sales at The Colosseum gift store will be huge, too. 2 Quote

They aren't going to lose the $1,000 worth of other expenses because their $150 Celine ticket is no longer valid. Celine cannot be held responsible for arbitrary casino revenue losses - and there is certainly not a $20m impact on Celine's part for the dates that have been described. SuperLove4Celine Posted March 28, 2018 at 05:52 PM Posted March 28, 2018 at 05:52 PM I really think she should cancel the rest of her Vegas shows leading up to the tour. Canceling on Asia two times woud be disasterous for her reputation, regardless the circumstances. 4 Quote
CelineDionFreak Posted March 28, 2018 at 06:01 PM Posted March 28, 2018 at 06:01 PM I don’t understand why they have 2 shows in Macao and Singapore and won’t annouce ticket sales... if they wait too long they may not get good ticket sales. Dion2000 Posted March 28, 2018 at 06:29 PM Posted March 28, 2018 at 06:29 PM Well she was still(as far as we know) perfectly fine until early march so im still confused as why it wasnt on sale with all the others in Feb Quote

Canceling on Asia two times woud be disasterous for her reputation, regardless the circumstances. And the fact that last time only 3 shows had been announced, now all 22 of them are announced and 20 shows on sale. Giving that the massive publicity its recieved, as you said will ruin her rep Quote
N!LoC Posted March 29, 2018 at 06:19 AM Posted March 29, 2018 at 06:19 AM im quite numb at the moment ... who knows if she will scrap the asian tour again this time... my only consolation is that mariah might be comming back to asia again in october... as she just announced 2 dates in japan... :-( i just dont know what to think Quote
smw Posted March 29, 2018 at 07:01 AM Posted March 29, 2018 at 07:01 AM I agree that the summer tour is more important than the next leg of Vegas shows — but more than anything I hope her procedure goes perfectly and our Queen will be singing for many years to come. Hopefully she will be back in top shape ASAP. 2 Quote
