It was fun! Hoped that the studio pictures would be that way.

But the musicsheets were to light to read

 

I hope we get another, albeit blurry, setlist photo for this tour! It was fun trying to decipher the song titles on it. LOL

Im still hoping for a single to be performed on this tour. Shes been almost silent in her time off (as she was during LBMTL and TC’s recordings) which makes me pray shes been recording and resting

Didn’t you hear already? She’s hitting the stage fully naked. Then, as the show progresses she will be getting dressed, until she closes with MHWGO dressed like a big blue heart de la mer.

I’m sure there will be pure carnage in these chat groups if she repeats the 2017 tour (setlist wise) but I for one would be so happy to see it in person. It was a great show and so while a few sneaky surprises will be very welcome, I’ll be still thrilled if most of it is the same as last year.

and that is why i hope the recordings of last year concerts still could be released on dvd after the Asia tour. Possibly with some bonusmaterial recorded in Asia and Australia..that would be fantastic:)

Maybe they can release 3 versions... one in english (english country), one in french (of course french country) and one in asia. They just need to pick what countey they want to record. And they’re are all Summer Tour

I have one small question to ask you guys here.

 

I'm going to both Sydney dates and just wonder when the show starts. The showtime listed on ticketek is 7:30pm and I'll have to tuck my toddler into bed at 7 before leaving the house since she gets rather excited at the sight of the sitter. So, will there be a support act? And how long does that usually last and when will Celine usually go on stage?

 

I'll also have to set out extra time to queue up and collect the fan package stuff. My husband would also like us to sit down for a nice dinner within the venue compound.

Wow... that will be very tight then....

If I remember correctly, Céline came up on stage around 20.45 in Arnhem, NL, last summer. With Veronique as support act starting on 19.30.

But... if you have to tuck in your toddler, travel to the venue, have dinner beforehand somewhere, and also want to pick up the fan stuff, all before Céline enters the stage, well, good luck!

 

My suggestion:

Tuck in the toddler (or hope the toddler will be less picky about who tucks her in by then)

Make sandwiches to eat on the go

See Céline perform

Get the fan stuff afterwards (on the way back outside there should be plenty of merchandise)

I may not be able to eat if i already see the arena because of excitement so i’ll eat early (if the show is 7:30pm i’ll have my dinner at 6pm) and when i’m inside.. i’ll buy food then go to my seat wait until céline starts. If she’s late it’s ok at least i have food

 

I remember back in 2016 Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour she’s super late! 6pm i’m inside the arena i can hear her doing soundcheck of (Crazy for you) then, when the show starts. She’s late i thought she’s having a nap because she’s late for 3 hours. The show finished almost midnight but it’s the best concert i have ever seen in my life

So I see, not a problem then. We will just take our daughter out to dinner at 5:30 around the corner from our house, that way no fuss regarding cooking and cleaning. We will grab some wine at the venue instead of the fancy dinner

I would love to see the support act as I have heard a fair bit about her in recent years. However I don't think that's possible since the venue is at least 30mins away from my home (if only she chose the one in the city but then I completely understand it's way too small.) I guess if we hurry a bit we will manage to see the last 15 mins of her show at best.

Haha! 😆 Soundcheck at 6pm???

 

I went to see Rebel Heart in Sydney, too. It was the very last show of the entire tour and I was only like 8 weeks from giving birth and it was one of the 2 shows that got taped for the tour DVD, so Madonna showed up around midnight (no it's not a joke.) The show wrapped up at around 3AM and made so many local news headlines. My musician husband said he lost so much respect for Madonna after the event. I think my baby could hear the loud music, she was kicking like crazy!

 

We are very certain Celine is no Madonna when it comes to punctuation which plays a massive part in professionalism.

Celine always starts at 9 when on tour.

 

Sometimes 5 min later,or earlier.

 

But nothing like Madonna, I just don't go to her shows anymore,last time I had standing places, she showed up around 10 a lot of people where leaving already and it's not that she isn't in the building. It really lacks respect.

Céline does take local culture into account when it comes to punctuality.

 

In Germany she started at the exact hour, not even a minute late (Germans demand punctuality).

In France, she was much later (and so was the audience 😁).

I love how she and her team always adapt and are aware of cultural sensitivities 😊

A 9pm start would be fantastic! That will surely allow us to get there without rushing, order a drink and get settled.

 

I remember an hour into Madonna's concert, quite a few people around us started leaving. I felt lucky having attended the show without the need to get back home before a certain time because of work commitment and babysitter, and so lucky that I didn't spend over 500 bucks on the fan package.

 

Culturally speaking, we are pretty relaxed down under as long as it's within reasons. Having said that, the majority of people who will be seeing Celine are of a more mature type (at least the ones that I know of including my very elderly in-laws), and I don't think they will tolerate a late start. Either way I will just leave as quickly as possible.

I didn’t have those fan stuff that came with the tickets. But I remember that I saw people picking it up after the concert.

Maybe the email will provide more information about pick up times. Hopefully there will be a pick up time after the concert has finished.

During the 2017 tour Céline also started at 8.30 (right after Veronic), especially later in the tour. Or sometimes even later, at around 9.30 (this happened during some French shows).. So it can be anywhere between 8.30 and 9.30, most of the times it's just after 9.00pm.

Great suggestion. I'll get my in laws to take her to the park while I take a nap or so.

 

There are quite a few restaurants within Olympic park but like you've said they will be extremely busy and all the hotels will be booked out also.

 

And lol she'd better not cancel the leg alright!!

With the VIP packs on the 2017 tour, you had to pick them up at a desk before the concert, as they weren’t around after the show ended.

 

I went to a few shows & the format for that was the same each time.

 

They’ll send you the email the week/few days before the show with all the info you’ll need & it really doesn’t take very long. Go along with your ticket & tell them your name .. that should be it!

5:30 have dinner out with my kid

7pm leave home to get to the venue by 7:45pm. I'm taking the train just to avoid the massive hassles associated with traffic and parking. And I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of extra services added specially for the show.

 

Queue up for the vip fan stuff and hopefully finish with that by 8:15pm to grab a drink and catch a bit of the support act.
