Dion2000 Posted February 21, 2018 at 03:46 PM Posted February 21, 2018 at 03:46 PM Let’s hope so! Fingers crossed for a 2nd show there! Do you think it’s possible? They said there would be no 2nd show. They said it wasnt to do with ticket sales, it was simply that Celine wanted time off during shows and that she thought one was was enough ...... Quote
mirage Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:04 PM Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:04 PM Oh yeah, a great in depth interview. Would be nice! I think this interview was good, she didn't said new things, but she didn't ramble as much as she can do. I liked the part where they did show her all her albums.Though it was nothing new, it was a good interview to watch. When she is doing pressconferences she always avoids the questions and rambles on and on haha. I want another one with Katie Couric. She was genuine and they connected very well. It’s not easy to interview Celine, and it’s not easy to connect with her. One moment she’s being goofy and playful, the other she’s talking about death and in the middle of that she outbreaks singing a random song to illustrate her answer. Add to that that she barely answers specifically what she is questioned and rambles like crazy. No, not easy at all. Interviewers must think it’s a test to their nerves or for those who are not familiar with her goofy behavior, someone with some kind of bipolar disorder lol 1 Quote
flutefreak Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:15 PM Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:15 PM Someday I'd like a full hour in depth interview in English like maybe when she releases the new album. Needs to be with a good interviewer though that keeps her on the question when she drifts! I think fans should submit the questions too! Probably just dreaming... 3 Quote

Dion2000 Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:59 PM Posted February 21, 2018 at 04:59 PM Oh ok 😢 Well we have to allow Celine time to spend with her family and friends and let her live her life (alot of people forget she has one) Plus one show is enough. She doesnt need to do a 50 date tour every year lmao. One show for 46,000 is enough 2 Quote

Though I thought she'd do two shows like she did in 2008 and like it was planned for 2014. But yeah...46,000 is like three London shows! Quote

wjd Posted February 21, 2018 at 05:49 PM Posted February 21, 2018 at 05:49 PM It’s a shame that she isn’t adding a second Japan show, it’d sell-out by the date the tour comes around with no issues. Off the top of my head, I think Japan is her 5th biggest market as far as record sales go: USA - 62mFrance - 19mCanada - 17mUK - 12mJapan - 9m Oh well, 46k ticket sales at the Asian price point will net her in the region of $8-$9m (average ticket price of over $175). One thing that will irritate me about this tour is that we rarely get to see boxscore information for Asia (this is for all artists, not just Celine). The most expensive VIP with goods comes to around $400 the cheapest Arounf $75. Id say total, $7 Million but thats still amazing for ONE SHOW haha Quote

Looking at her European tour last year, her biggest single date (in France) did $5.0 million with 43k+. The point is that a second stadium show would 100% counter the loss of revenue from the Vegas residencies she missed earlier this year. I really wanted another $100 million+ year Quote Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

I really wanted another $100 million+ year I can already say that this tour will gross more than last years, sky high ticket prices and multiple shows in sky high ticket areas = moneyyyy. Paris for example she made $8 Million from 4 Concerts. Max ticket price : $300 Taipei, 3 Concerts Max Ticket Price : $600. All 3 sold out Plus, theres actually more money to be made this year regardless. A high grossing tour, her usual vegas ANDDDDDD the new album Edited February 21, 2018 at 06:28 PM by Dion2000 Quote
