I’m glad I’m not the only one! I love the idea of it but I think it’s just too big. I think it’s gorgeous sitting down but standing up it’s like she’s wearing a cloak lol!

why do they not show the best bites when showing this on tv , we see that Celine is showing something different, but if the media don't care, what can she do?

 

 

it makes such a difference to see these little clips because how they edited it looks incomplete and as if she does not talk about her cds and how it was.

i can only say that this interview is maybe the best interview i have seen so far. There is a caring and interested host and Celine who shows her vulnerable side too. She is such a great person and i love her, not only for the great singer she is, but also because she is a wonderful honest, classy and sweet person.

Also worth to mention is the way they present this interview with tastefully chosen pianomusic in the background. I love the Australian English accent also. great interview!

Random thought: I wonder why they didn't put Mainland China (like Beijing, Shanghai) on the list. Chinese people seem to like her (among a billion of population!). And she appeared on their national TV before and got fantastic feedbacks.

 

Also, a big city like Seoul (South Korea). Few years ago, a famous diva held a concert there but she got so bad reviews lol. Celine will definitely satisfiy Korean people.

I thought the same. They said they had to do new places and places cancelled on the 2014 tour so i guess thats why

I don't think the sound engineer was happy with that outfit either. When standing and moving her arms it makes these noises you really don't want to get a clear recording of her voice

I think maybe because celine talks really slow ,alot of silence before she speaks (she was never like that in interviews before) also not finding the right words to say , so for professional footage they didn’t want that ,I don’t know just assuming

Also, not sure if it was my phone, but did it sound like crackling on the mic like it was on her dress in a funny way and with every movement it made the sound. Would have made 90% unusable for airing on television.

 

The clip about Rene passing was hardcore - super emotional.

I do not agree with you.

The piano music was too disturbing and distracting from understanding what was said. For me, it is very difficult to understand them without subtitles, and this only messes up the sound.

Also, I think the host is too fake (sorry for those who love her, I understand she is very famous), but her smile looked sticked on her face, and it was too compassionate, that it felt unreal. At some times I even thought, does the host actually understand at an emotional level what Céline is saying?

When investigating both Céline’s face, as the host’s face, you can see the difference. Céline’s face is relaxed, face expressions changing with subject, while that one of the host stays the same with that (in my opinion) weird smile.

I didn’t really like that interview.

To be honest, I don’t really like most interviews because of the hosts.

I want another one with Katie Couric. She was genuine and they connected very well.

 

It’s not easy to interview Celine, and it’s not easy to connect with her. One moment she’s being goofy and playful, the other she’s talking about death and in the middle of that she outbreaks singing a random song to illustrate her answer. Add to that that she barely answers specifically what she is questioned and rambles like crazy.

 

No, not easy at all. Interviewers must think it’s a test to their nerves or for those who are not familiar with her goofy behavior, someone with some kind of bipolar disorder lol
