Yes, because if you listen songs like FIY and then Think Twice (which was performed right before) or CHFIL acapella at the end of the show, it looks as if she had performed in two different nights with different voices, and it's annoying she's doing that. Some say FIY is playback and if that's true then that's absolutely not the best version nor it represents the great condition of her real voice live today! That's what I say.

 

Lol... FIY is 100% playback. For sure we will notice some differences with the current live vocal for TT and CHFIL. Yes playback for FIY was not recorded perfectly or near perfection. Maybe she wanted to make it imperfect due to the dancing that she wanted the audience to note that the dance affects her singing. If the recording is perfect, it ridiculous to sing perfect while dancing. Simple as that. But we know... we know it is playback. Hahaha

Okay, I'm totally in love listening and watching today's videos. I'm crying watching Think Twice :wub:

 

Please listen with your headphones if possible.

 

The little variations she's making in Think Twice and PQTME are amazing.

 

The orchestra and the guitars on Think Twice are breathtaking. Think Twice is a marvel of this tour (and last summer tour too). But it keeps getting better and better (on the contrary with other songs like LCMM or RDMH). Think Twice deserves a DVD release.

You're missing the point. She uses RDMH and LCMM as voice saving songs. I also hate them at this point.

I'll be honest, that pqtme was a bit too rdmh for me (not quite lcmm). Not just in one spot but all throughout.

 

The audio quality of that user was AMAZING.

The reason has truly only gotten better this tour. I honestly think had she continued singing it last year we would have seen same improvement.

 

The three shows in taipei were the best thus far but i have to give the edge to july 11th. It was the strongest yet to date!!

 

The phrasing was original not improvised on the line before the second closed syllable. (I actually like this improv still... but in line with kicking #ss the original way is preferred.).

 

Both them closed syllable belts were better than other attempts on tour.

 

The last sustained belt was not shortened, she was not tired. She was going for it!! The last belt also was great.

exactly. Almost any cafe or big store has free wifi and you can upload it to YouTube. Even the arenas sometimes have public wifi for those waiting in the lobby. Sometimes its very easy for people to say all sorts and then dont prove it at all. For example, The first thing id do if i heard Celine rehearsing stand by your side is get my phone out and record it, not just spread it about. Its the same here. Quality doesnt really matter to me its more about actually knowing she rehearses all this stuff and what she gets up to as it must be very rare for stuff like this

 

You just don’t seem to get why it was not posted yet.

 

The first thing everyone did was to record (and dance around, which gained attention...); on day 2 and 3 it was almost impossible to have access.

 

Then security closed the doors.

 

What followed is a lot of standing by the doors and repeated attempts of opening the door and inserting a phone on the floor, for recording. Which security noticed and kicked out. Which did not stops the fans from repeating the same.

 

There was a lot of of running around, to find better spots (such as bathroom, inside shops or across the info area - best spots).

 

So everyone present there has few pieces.

We did not even manage to exchange all recordings amongst us there...

But everyone there was also a tourist, it’s not just about access to internet.

 

For me it’s mainly about time.

I bearly listened to my recordings yesterday, on my flights out, thanks to 2 delays.

 

And today I will unpack and get ready for work, so downloading, uploading and sharing is not my 1st priority.

 

I admire people who can be fast with all of this, but I for one am not.

 

So just be patient and wait, it won’t be for nothing, but it won’t be for very decent files also.

 

Last post on this topic, I dislike repeating myself.

I get goosebumps thinking what this tour mean for people in Indonesia,Taiwan and Philippines. These are places where Celine's music has been popular and well loved for many years, yet Celine has never performed in these places. So every big hit that she performs, is like meeting an old lost friend. No wonder why many people say they started to cry as soon as Celine steps on stage.

 

I also find it touching seeing quite a number of fans posting pictures of them watching the show with their parents, saying how they grew up listening to Celine with their parents, and it means so much to watch Celine live together.

 

Also many people have high praises of not how great Celine sings, but also how loveable she is as a person.

-her bodyguards started moving luggages into a truck at around 1pm. Bodyguards also hugged some of the hotel staff before they left.

 

-at around 2:30pm, Celine's car came out from the underground garage, and Celine rolled down her window thanking fans who were there. Some fans asked her if she will return to Taiwan again in the future, she said absolutely! And kept waving to the fans as the car departs

 

-at the airport, there were more than 30 fans waiting for her. The fans sang TLYM, and Celine happily laughed and kept waving her hands. She also spent 12 minutes signing autograph and taking pictures with the fans. As the fans were singing, she joked to them that they could be her opening act next time.

 

-she told them that she has been very happy during her stay in Taiwan, thanking everybody, and she will definitely come back to this beautiful place.

 

-some fans took their child along, waited for more than an hour under the sun. Celine Gav those kids a hug.

 

-a fan gave a credit card for Celine to sign, after signing it, Celine joked that it is now her card.

 

-before she left, she said “i gotta go now, the twins are waiting for me.” she kept waving to the fans as she walks into the airport building.

 

-while the bodyguards were unloading the luggages, as they heard the fans singing TLYM, the bodyguards started waving their hands too along with the song.

 

-when the twins got off the car at the airport, fans were screaming “welcome to Taiwan, bye bye~”, and twins happily waved back to the fans.

The Best So Far 2018 Tour album debuted at an almost unbelievable number 10 on the official Australian album charts and she’s still 1-2 weeks from arriving! I thought it was a typo but it’s true! Only one spot behind the #9 debut for LMBTL!
