There's definitely something strange going on in the way she sings today. We know she still has the great voice, we know she can nail it and belt the songs if she wants, but she can go from the most embarrassing vocals during a whole song to the most strong and clear performance in the same night, in a matter of minutes. Why does she do that? How can her voice change so much within the same show and night? Is she keeping her voice to record the album or more songs? Is she cheating us more than we see with the playback thing or what?

 

I don't understand, but whatever it is, is not nice. Either give us the best voice with a certain uniformity during the same show, or don't give a show at all. The differences are becoming very noticeable now and sooner or later someone will ask her why she sings as if she had actually TWO different voices used in the same night!

 

 

Listen. The FIY playback isn’t accurate of her voice, neither is IACBTMN playback. She needs to record new playback because waiting a decade in between each recording doesnt work. TR,CHFIL,Ashes,TT even All By Myself, she shows her ACTUAL voice, a richer maturer tone with that same power but for some reason in songs that she doesn’t have to belt properly or put in any oomph she just crawls back to subdued, nasal vocals as if shes saving it for the big songs when she doesnt need too.

After the last Jakarta show she flew straight to Taipei, so she will probably fly straight to Manila after her show today

 

No she flew out of Jakarta the day after. There was a video of her leaving in daylight

That's what I mean, it's insane!! If this is recorded and put into a DVD there's no way the public is gonna buy this. A performance in the middle of the show where her voice sounds absolutely tired and flat, far from her standards and then a final encore acapella where she totally nails it. Anyone who is not familiar with her playbacks ins and outs will probably think there's something fishy going on :blink:

Anyone familiar with her playbacks probably won't care and maybe will already know about the situation and anyone non familiar, will probably think either that the rest of the show is live and this one song is the playback (since it's the only song she doesn't sound as good) or think she doesn't sing it as good because of the choreography.

 

I do too think that they recorded this song very early, while she didn't even know the choreography and was recovering from the surgery, things that affected her voice and performance in this particular recording.I'm guessing they wanted it to sound as natural as possible, given the fact that she is moving and dancing, thus she can't have a... perfect voice (which i think she can at this point but anyway).

 

But in the end, everyone (who will buy this imaginary DVD and the rest of the world as well) can be 100% sure that yesterday's encore was live, and in that song her voice was outstanding and that's what matters the most IMO.

Also you don't know how much they will gonna mess around again with the audio, you might not even notice a thing. It will be lame throughout the DVD :laugh:

 

"Going from the most embarrassing vocals"? That's a bit too much i'd say... I think her voice changes depending on the song she sings. The more she is bored with a song or doesn't feel like singing it at that moment, the more her voice flattens and becomes more "fake" (don't know how to describe it exaclty either). But it's like everyone..you know, when you really wanna sing something and you are feeling it, you sing it great, when you like the song but not really feeling it, you sing it good and when you wanna commit suicide just by listening the first notes, you just "fake/pseudo-sing" it and move on.The difference is that in Celine's case great is perfect, good is great and meh is still good.

Okay maybe not *embarrassing* but from watching the FIY performance to the I Can't Help Falling In Love, the difference in her voice it's a bit awkward to say the least. Makes you wonder what's going on on with her voice in a matter of minutes.

Well, frankly it's not a matter of minutes. The FIY part comes at like min. 45:00 and the encore happened after an hour. Unfortunately or fortunately, the average person can't really remember the difference in her tone, voice, vibrato and so on. So, i doubt that many will actually do this comparison, especially during the show.

You can say the same about the difference in her voice in all the playbacks. Especially the last part of MHWGO..sometimes is like day and night, and that happens instantly, you don't wait a whole hour to experience the voice change. But hey, still many many people think it's live and many of those who know don't give a tiny rat's #ss...

Most people who attend the show don't even notice the difference as they are so excited to see her skirt come off & Pepe having fun with Céline. :-D Don't sweat it. Edited by Xpresso

Headvoice too, as far as I know.

LOL that;s not headvoice guys that is natural full voice that's why she is alittle bit struggling,. But nevertheless the high part!! WOW almost like years did not pass for celine.

She'll probably fly to Manila tomorrow, Sunday. So she'll probably have 3 days to go around...

 

She'll fly out after the show (she always prefer this, instead of the day after)..

That performance of Can't Help Falling In Love...it has completely blown me away. Such power and control and so beautiful completely acapella. I want this to be plastered over Youtube and reaction videos. It's incredible that she can sing like this, better than ever.

Not right after the show. She'll probably fly out early Sunday morning (before dawn)... just like she did in Macau, Singapore and Taiwan....

She went right away after All shows but not Singapore and Jakarta.. only bc the flight from Singapore to Jakarta was not so long...
