Wow all the cry babies here. She had a surgery and didn't have the time she needed to rehearse an entire new show.

What's the big deal? She hadn't performed in Asia in over 10 years. Most of the people who attended the show have no idea what she sings in Vegas or what she sang in her last summer tours. Maybe you need to take a Céline break to enjoy her again...

This. Plus she gave us the reason and think twice again, to love you more for the first time after 10 years, unison since she last sang it in 2009 (even if it's not the version yall want) , at seventeen ( even though some of you don't like it, but there's literally as many out there that do like it).

Could it be better and get rid of the Prince medley? Yes

But it's not as bad as yall make it seem. It was fine, most people that go to those shows are not huge fans, they're the gp and all they want to hear is the hits.

Okay I have been listening to the livesteam on one of the facebooklinks. What i noticed was, that it is almost exact copy of last year's tour. Which I loved, but it would have been great if she really changed things, other stage design, different setlist etc.. maybe more dancers..

It is very easy to do a show you already have done before, just change some songs, an et voila, ready. But it lacks something. Also , as I suspected, the audience is quite tame.. In Ashes she improvised a bit, but I did not like what she did with the song. Okay we are hard, we Judge, but we also Judge because we all wait for this tour to start and what we get is tour 2017 2.0 with only a few changes and even less songs!

I hope when she comes back to Europe she leaves a lot of these so called - fanfavorites - at home or in Vegas, but suprises us on tour. this is not a surprise at all. It is more like she does not do worldtours anymore, so she breaks them up in minitours and uses that same tourdesign plus setlist. What if she would do another tour, but this time in middle and south america. it would be the same setup, I am sure. I did not even bother to listen to this whole show. A shame, because I love her shows, but there is no surprise factor anymore..

Also, when I see this show, and hear her voice, wished the earlier recorded show in England was taped for bluray. Not this show that even has less songs to offer. Only thing I notice are the dresses, they are quite nice, except the opening golden circus suit.

I hope she can one day really say goodbye to abm, love can move mountains, river deep, recovering.. ah well - not gonna happen i think

I was expecting it to be very close to vegas teaser shows but not identical or less even....hate to wonder what will be left for fans in the later shows once 2-4 songs per the usual end up removed.

 

I think purple rain should have been a different medley for this tour.

 

On the bright side, if it's true the show was filmed for broadcast it will be nice having many of these songs again and some for the first time. The reason, think twice, ashes, ttwii. Unison..anyone have viseos of the reason or think twice, or unison?

She doesn't do World Tours anymore so it's normal that the same show comes back in different parts of the world until she visits the entire world. Part 1, 2, 3 and we're missing a 4th at least. what a stupid comment!! as if we have to be pleased by hearing the same songs year after year after year after year!!! Yes of course we can be critical, we don't have to agree with everything?? And then we are fake fans? I am a very big fan and have seen her a couple of times. LOOOOVED her show in Holland last year. But sometimes it gets boring when nothing changes. And as a fan you hope to see some new things of course. Glad Ashes is in, but not glad that it is not her best take of the song and they are taping it. Yeah well, so be it. I don't know. I think I will buy the bluray but I just do not feel that excited anymore.

Yes her new album makes me much more interested, that is really what a fan wants to see, except her old songs - New material!

What surprises me the most is that there was a risk Céline couldn't sing anymore with her ear problem. And she made it through with lots of efforts I'm sure. Now she travels to Asia because she promised she would go back after she cancelled back in the days. And now all the hard core fans are having a fit because it's the same show. Get a grip people! Well she rehearsed FIY. If she did that + some dance moves she can recover one or two old songs like she did last year with Think Twice and Refuse To Dance. It's not that hard. We're not asking her to learn a script to play her part in a movie or the next full season of American Horror Story as a guest star. We're talking about songs of 3 minutes, most of which she knows by heart. And where she doesn't even move in most of them by the way

 

Yes she had an ear surgery. She's fine. Others have worst injuries and have to be operated and be back on their seats 8 hours 5 days a week, and only have 15 days to recover and are still in pain with a bunch of pills and medicines on them. And they keep on.

 

Seriously, some of you need to reconsider how much work involves singing/rehearsing a song, because sometimes you're making it look as if it was the most daunting, exhausting, tedious, difficult job in the world. That's ridiculous

I do not know why many complaints, everyone here knew that the show would be the same as Vegas, I was not surprised, I liked it, I liked the new clothes too.

Think on the one hand, she made new shows in 2016 and 2017, with songs that she never sang, now it's Asia's turn, let them enjoy it, I'm sure that on the next europe tour she'll come with new things.

Why would she say she's going to sing the songs the fans want in the press conferences? What fans? Does she ask, does her team even ask?

 

And new songs, surprises in her show? What new songs? What surprises?

 

Why would she say that if she knows she's going to sing the same show over and over again?

 

That's what many of us don't get, and that's why the disappointment comes. It's Céline herself who sells the anticipation for something that seems to be new and different and a new show, as if she was actually listening to what the public wants to hear and she's open to the songs she's requested to sing, and then BAM!! It's all the same thing she's been doing in Vegas + a mixed combination of her precedent tours. You know this is true...

I think some ppl need to stop burying their head in the sand.

 

First, I don't understand all those who were giggling when she did the last 2 shows in Vegas and are judging now.

 

I didn't think the changes were spectactular or that exciting back then but never ever would I have expected such a show. I mean...shorter than Vegas? Really? I was right when I wrote that by the time the tour started, the setlist will have been shortened! lol

 

On all levels, 2018 has been such a down fall so far ( beside "Ashes"). And don't come up with the surgery thing ... it's been 6 months !

 

To be totally honest, I already thought the last 2 Vegas shows were disrespectful , she used the Vegas shows to rehearse this tour so that she doesn't have to when she was off.

 

And she even said the setlist will be adapted according the country ! haha. She can be very funny sometimes.

 

Within 6 months , (right after the New Year), Céline('s team) lost all ambition and all creativity.

 

What was added? 2 new playback and 1 min of a "rare" song!

 

Céline used to be an open book... I know that library are not trendy anymore but they haven't burnt ! She doesn't do any interview anymore, her social network activity is still nonexistent...oh wait, yes her team posts the dress fitting sessions! She has time to try new outfits but not to rehearse 1 new song!

 

I can"t believe the laziness she has been surrounder with this year!
