If it's original instrumentals, or the live orchestra cuts, I will be ECSTATIC. There aren't many quality backing tracks for Celine songs for me to use in my shows. I created one for LMBTL from the stems they provided for the remix contest, and I often use MHWGO. But I'd love the live version.

I'm still confused about this release. The cover makes it look like a compilation as if it were to be live you'd think it would be a photo oh her on stage. Then again releasing a CD with studio songs in the order they were sung on the tour is just plain strange. Why would we spend money on a release with studio versions when I can arrange those same songs on a playlist I create. I get the karaoke tracks as a "bonus" but still.

 

Guess we'll soon find out what it's all about.

you really think that last year was better? i would relly wabt to hear Si c'était à refaire, but at the same time , last year it was very i don't know , so quiet and meaning ful, there was so much respect from the crowd and positive energy...

How utterly crap is it's studio versions- I know they could turn things around quickly if they wanted to but realistically, the tour is only a month old so it's unlikely that they are the live versions from the shows.

I consider last year's tour better in some way: it was intimate and I truly felt the energy of Celine and the energy of the crowd. This one is a bit different: it's absolutely exciting and very energetic too but it lacks intimacy or something.

And how stupid then is not to have released this before the tour, if it's all about the studio recordings, so people attending the shows could have bought this at the venues?

 

After so many years of disappointment with her international releases I still had some hopes with the local Sony Music France team, but after this, I really give up. This release proves that Céline's discography career is completely jinxed at Sony Music, as a record label

For me the ultimate confirmation will be when:

1) Team Céline will say it's studio

2) When we can see the length of songs, indicating that the length is exactly the same as the studio version

If they follow up with a live CD later in the year then I can't see a problem with this CD... people will buy it..... it's a good way of promoting some of her new French work plus some oldies.

Well, we’re gonna give them another compilation with nothing ‘new’ but instrumentals, even though we already have ‘All The Way... a Decade of Song,’ ‘The Collector’s Series Vol 1,’ ‘On ne change pas,’ ‘Complete Best,’ ‘My Love: Ultimate Essential,’ ‘The Essential Céline Dion,’ ‘The Essential Céline Dion 3.0,’ countless promo compilations, etc. etc.”

I think it is someone who reads this forum and got tired of reading the same posts all over again since last year's tour ( the "we want a DVD of the tour" thing ).

That's really a slap in the face for those people.
