Un triple best of de sa tournée française

 

 

Afin de remercier ses fans de leur soutien indéfectible, Céline Dion leur a réservé une autre surprise. En effet, le 21 juillet prochain, un coffret en trois volumes, intitulé "Un peu de nous", sortira dans les bacs. On y retrouvera ses plus gros tubes chantés sur cette nouvelle tournée comme "My Heart Will Go On", "Pour que tu m'aimes encore, "Ziggy" ou "S'il suffisait d'aimer", ainsi qu'un CD inédit contenant les pistes instrumentales de ses chansons. L'occasion pour ses admirateurs de pouvoir chanter sur les mélodies les plus cultes de son répertoire en mode karaoké.

Although i would rather have a bluray including the fabulous opening with Celine doing those hums to the Power of Love!

Can't be as bad as D'eux 25th Anniversary album where the cover and the rest of the booklet were cheap low quality scans of the old one... now that's recycling! lol

As long as she asks between 600 and 700 euros for VIP packages and front row seats and public is willing to pay, they will keep releasing any crap, because it's secure fans will always buy it!

A lot of money??? With the revenue she gets from only ONE show she does in this tour, or a couple of them at most, the costs of recording the audio of a show are already covered. And filming it is not that far either, for such a simple staging she does! This show is not a P!nk or Madonna show right, where you have to be looking at 5 different places at the same time to get what's going on. It's not like they have to film with 15 different cameras to capture what's happening on the stage, you know.

 

So no, not a lot of money at all. In fact I'd say this show is very simple and convenient to film.

 

There's no logic. What there is is a lot of laziness and lack of interest, above all.

To me it became clear it's not a live release and they're giving us all studio recordings. Note that they deliberatedly ommited Black Or White and Love Of My Life, the two new songs she's singing in this tour. Also, an important thing: Sony has very little (or basically nothing) to do with this entire tour. It's all Céline's management and the promoters.

So putting out a release, may require negotiations, etc. And without a manager......

Yes, I absolutely agree it has to do A LOT with Céline's management. That's why I never completely blamed Sony Music for the total neglection of her recording career in the past 15 years, because I always understood it was also Céline's responsibility and René (while he was here) that certain things happened or not

I doubt that. Do you know how many times “Man in the Mirror†and “Somebody to Love†and other MJ / Queen songs have been performed on shows like “The Voice†and then are sold on iTunes?

 

Also, Céline released TSMGO on the TCWT DVD and on the QVC bonus CD AND on iTunes AND has the Billboard performance on her monetized VEVO/YouTube channel. Also a Queen song...

 

I’d be shocked if royalties were the hold up here.

At first I couldn't believe it, how can they release this album with studio versions? Later I thought I could even be ok with it if they added The Show Must Go On, Recovering and some other rare stuff. But now I see that even Team Celine is ashamed of this release becuse celinedion.com is silent about it. It will be released in two weeks and there's zero official information. And it seems it will be released in France only.

I personally think this album is being realised by Sony France off the back of the great EUS sales. She just got given that achievement disc for 800.000 copies sold...

They earn over 30 million dollars with this tour... the costs for a cd release are nothing compared to what they earn PLUS they make a lot of profit selling these CDs and get even more than 50% back from the CD sales. It's just a shame that given all Celine has done for Sony they can't just release a live album and DVD etc just "because." Obviously they are a business and want to make money etc but Celine has made them so much money in the past it would be great to see them just release something fans actually want to buy instead of this nonsense.

At a first glance, everyone that is aware of the tour and what she's singing, would think it's the live CD from the tour, particularly because the tracklist is in the same order as the show setlist

 

Expecting that this is a Live album from the tour is not greedy, it's being logical and expecting what's logic according to the info provided. I can anticipate the confusion and bewilderment of the public when they see in the stores this album and by watching the songs they will think it's the live album from the French shows, but it's just the studio songs put in the same order as in the concerts :rolleyes: That's not being greedy, that's being ripped off by Sony and Céline's team.

 

That Sony Music treats her fans as stupid and wants always to milk the cow with the worst releases and the minimum effort, that's not our fault
