We don’t know if the 2 minutes is accurate… there’s no way they are only giving her 2 minutes for a hypothetical performance, they would give her more time. 2 minutes is certainly a video message. Maybe they are holding out 2 minutes FOR SURE for the message and if she’s able to perform they’ll scrap the 2 minute message and add more time for a performance.

 

Frankly, I’m posting things I’m seeing just to get it on here for reading, but I’m not believing anything at this point.

It’s all so odd… it’s like we know less about her condition now after the documentary/ and interviews. So weird, she’s fine to sing in Saudi Arabia, but now not so much. It’s all strange,

If they literally confirmed something that includes her that is happeninng outside the stadium, then singing can be already ruled out as all singing is taking place on one stage.

 

I also don't get the Saudi Arabia. I mean normally I don't care about Eurovision and under regular circumstances back in the days I even wouldn't like to appear there (and given her silence about it and negative attitude towards NPPSM even more).

 

BUT the Eurovision MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE than Saudi Arabia because not only is it connected to her own career, but more importantly it is not any Eurovision (like Timberlake did his performance out of the blue), it is exactly in the country for which she won and you know how rare it is for a country to win again in this contest. So she really should do it if she could do Saudi Arabia.

The Olympics was with billions of viewers so Eurovision is way less important. Again is she could do the Olympics and Saudi Arabia last year, nothing (but her health) could prevent her from participating.

True but IF (and it's a big if) anything was really brewing, they need big exposure. They already lost the momentum after The Olympics, so this is their second chance. There isn't any other really big event that could bring her back in the spotlight.

 

Unless there is literally nothing coming because again if she was healthy ENOUGH to do anything musically (a song, an album, a performance, an interview, let's forget about a concert for the time being), why would they keep silence for a whole year? Almost a deafening silence. There is no other logical explanation for it, none. She could do musical things without doing a concert/residency/tour.

I was hoping for more fan comments to it to get more views but I tagged aeg vegas in it like I did with the apple tweet.

The Olympics was not odd in my opinion. They all lipped. Celine lipped in 1996 at her prime vocals, which says it all.

 

The Saudi Arabia was odd because other performers sang live, and that show wasn't really that important that it had to be perfect. Was actually a great opportunity to try sing live and see how it goes.
