None of this would be head scratching if Celine herself didn’t make it sound like she’s “already back a little bit” and that she’s “preparing a new show” over a YEAR ago.

 

It’s understandable if Celine is now living day by day because of her illness, but why even say she’s coming back so matter a fact-ly just to disappear again? I’d say maybe she had a setback but she still randomly pops up in Florida for golf and London for gods knows what?

 

It’s all odd.

If it's just 2 minutes that have been reserved for her it would be the video message.

Well look how long we had to wait for her to perform, over 4 years! It’ll fly and hopefully that time will be filled with other surprises. This is a great sign that she’s willing to be a part of this

I have given this lots of thought.

 

Part of me wanted her to be there because I have missed her and I would like her to have her moment again. Millions of people watch the ESC and she deserves all the praise.

 

However, I realised that I am OK with her not attending the contest due to a number of reasons. First, she needs to always prioritise her health. Second, ESC has become too political with its stance to be apolitical. Third, the Olympics last year raised a significantly high standard for her career and image - the EUS simply cannot compete. Fourth, as far-fetched as it is, maybe attending the contest will give the impression that she has no career and only makes an appearance in big events once a year.

 

Either way, I am super excited about the short Celine tribute and maybe a pre-recorded video of hers! It will create buzz and remind everyone of the legend she is.

The hype for this started at the end of the ceremony last year when ABBA didn’t turn up to perform and once we knew it would be held in Switzerland.

 

If her health is good which it appears to be recently thank god, then yeah 100% she will be there.

 

All this stuff in the press that they are still talking to her ppl is BS as they originally wanted this to be a surprise.

End of the day if shes fit to be there she will be and so I think unless things change with her health, this appearance is a cert!

I hope I’m wrong but could this be the rehearsal for the tribute. Maybe the person assumed it was the rehearsal for Celine’s performance whereas in fact it is some kind of impersonation and tribute with someone dressed as her.

The funny part is or not so funny… much of speculation of her going to Eurovision was fueled even more by the social media post when she won that they posted days ago.

I’ve never seen a team who uses “Easter eggs”‘as a form of trolling due to their stupidity. Just don’t post anything on the matter at that point.

 

The only silver lining that will happen IF she doesn’t attend will be the world will see just how much a joke her team is, like everyone here knows already.

Yes, they posted about Eurovision 1988, but I think she will send a message. Maybe she will appear when she has something to promote (new show, album)��.
