The live final is a month today.

 

They are starting to announce performers and more about this years show.

 

So, is Céline well enough now to announce her early or will they do what they did in Paris and she arrives there a few days before depending on how she is?

I'm not following Eurovision strictly; but I thought they canceled the 'big-star-performance' segment after awhile? I remember we had Justin Timberlake and Madonna perform, but I don't remember any big star performance after that.

Justin Timberlake and Madonna had nothing to do with the Eurovision. Céline, besides being a global super star, is a Eurovision winner.

I somehow doubt it this year. My gut says Eurovision more likely.

The theme this year is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, drawing inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.”

Haven’t seen any rumblings about Celine potentially being there but (fellow former Montrealer) Kamala is rumored and if so I want Law to style her!

Well the bun doesn't influence her ability to sing whatsoever, so I don't see any connection

I just fail to understand why people even care about her having a bun. It is her hair she can do whatever the hell she wants with it- especially as she’s gotten older and, despite never really being vain or caring about always looking “flawless”, she less and less puts emphasis on her appearance being polished and clearly could care less about spending at least an hour every time she goes to some sort of show/appearance getting her hair done. Even less so when she’s just going out and about with her family. It’s like when people complained about her having the bun at BST; it was very, very hot in London in general that day, and I can only imagine how hot it must’ve been onstage under the lights- and putting her hair up 1) allowed for the multiple costume changes to go very smoothly, especially seeing as they were more “involved” than usual for her and 2) having her hair down on the back of her neck wouldve been torture in that heat.

 

 

At the end of the day- who cares what her hair looks like, especially if and when she returns to the stage I could care less. These pressures and expectations are exactly what she talked about in the documentary being the opposite of helpful for her. If she wants to come out next with a cyber green Mohawk- then she can damn well do so.

Guys her socials posted about this Grammys this year a couple days early and she didn’t attend. They posted about the MET last year and she didn’t attend. She may or may not go but one things for sure, we’ll know before whom ever is running her socials does. They are too dumb to do Easter eggs.

I really want another surprise appearance that shocks everyone and reminds them all why she is an icon. Olympics was perfect, Eurovision would be perfect too.
