Italy is the only country who brought something new this year, there are other countries with not bad songs, but most of them is more about the same...; besides ESC is a live show, the songs have to be composed to work well live, and i think Italy did the best, they chose an entertainer, not a singer a performer doesn't has to have a big voice, but has to be able to interact with a live audience.
