Tyler1991 Posted September 6, 2017 at 04:09 AM Posted September 6, 2017 at 04:09 AM If they'll release a DVD.. they should do this.. they should not remove the cheering of the audience That above video sounds horrible. It's not quite as bad, but is reminiscent of Mariah Carey's "adventures of Mimi" dvd where you can tell they clearly added audience noise in to add to the live effect. Quote

I mean come on, and it was Law Roach's idea. I mean, it was kind of silly look at, but made sense as for how she wanted to end the concert without taking time for another full costume change. She couldn't do MHWGO in sparkly jeans and a leather jacket. It just wouldn't have worked. In person the "dress" looked pretty as it lit up. Strange that it didn't move? Absolutely. But like I said above, it made sense. 4 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

It made sense for this kind of tour. Quote

But like I said above, it made sense. Agree, it didn't look good when I saw it on pictures for the first shows but when I saw the concert myself it looked good, you didn't really notice it was a fake dress. And she wasn't even hiding it. You could see her getting ready to get into the dress, standing at the side of it 1 Quote
natrachata Posted September 14, 2017 at 04:58 PM Posted September 14, 2017 at 04:58 PM (edited) The MHWGO dress looked fabulous! It was one of the highlight of the show actually. Even though it didn't move but who cares? May be she wants to continue her show smoothly, that I don't know but the fact that it used the similar idea of Claire Danes's sparkly dress from Met Gala 2016 gave the fresh visual look for MHWGO performance in years. I think that this dress and many of her fashion under Roach really sent the strong message that Celine is still in the current music scene and that she really is a fashionable gay icon not just a diva from the olden day! Javito Posted September 15, 2017 at 10:46 AM Posted September 15, 2017 at 10:46 AM And who says she has to sing MHWGO in a long dress forever? If she had performed MHWGO in the same ripped jeans and leather jacket as she sang Love Of My Life, I wouldn't have minded a bit. Actually I would have loved it, her attitude of "I don't care" 4 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Actually I would have loved it, her attitude of "I don't care" I totally agree! At least, then, she would be able to MOVE. The dress was so stiff, and really seemed constricting to her movements... especially after seeing her in Vegas in the aqua dress. The dress from the tour reminded me of this moment from the Sondheim musical "Sunday In The Park With George." Why did they have to be so high? Was it because she was singing in a smaller venues? is it greed? or something else? Edited September 16, 2017 at 06:45 PM by angelil78 4 Quote
