Here is my take on this. She is clearly not ready to be in a relationship so she is enjoying herself. having a lot of fun. I agree she is doing what she didn`t do when she was young ( in her 20s), I wouldn`t say she missed out on anything because she was deeply in love and totally dedicated to her career. Now she is in a new fase of her life, and having a lot of fun with friends! I say `you go girl, enjoy it!

I don't find Kaven's mannerisms any more noticeable than many professional musicians. Maybe not if you're used to pop, but in classical, jazz, any kind of instrumental music - it's not at all uncommon to see that kind of visceral reaction to the music. So I don't get the big deal. Honestly, Kaven is pretty tame in comparison. I never even noticed until some on here started making it a big deal. Which it isn't.

Exactly, most guitarist make those faces. Andre would do the same when he'd go on a riff or solo. I don't get the big deal either.

It is not wrong to still care about Celine and Rene. It is something we have known for so long and cared a lot about. We went through the good times with them and the bad.

 

Celine is still grieving for him and talking about him and singing songs in her shows which are clearly aimed at him. So just because some people can just turn the page, not every fan will find it that easy.

There's some ridiculous comments on the Red Heads' page (I only follow for updates). Mostly support, but it's ludicrous that those few comments even exist.

 

This one in particular, as if Celine's a child who needs a guardian

Yes Celine is an adult and can do what she likes, but I do hope that there is someone in the background who is genuinely looking out for her and can have up front conversations with her. She is still quite vulnerable after what has happened to her and is entering into new things that she doesn't seem to have seen too much of before.

That's nice, but the comment wasn't made as a general sentiment, it was made specifically on a post about her having some harmless fun.

 

I was sad when Rene died, largely for Celine and her kids. But the fact is their relationship was suspect at BEST. He was an elderly man who micromanaged every aspect of her life until his death (not even going to get into the possible grooming here) and then he literally assigned another elderly man to take over once he passed. So it's incredibly condescending and gross for someone to mention those 2 male figures in a post about her going out as if she is a little girl who has to be parented.

 

Sooo glad Celine showed Aldo the boot.

She's a grown woman who is a lot smarter than people give her credit for. She certainly has a support system. She's a real person and she can go into the world and be brilliant and have fun and make mistakes just like anyone else. She's living.
