It's so touching

I caught that too, so so touching and emotional. It's still hard to believe he's not here.

Yeah, that part sucks. I was soooooooooo looking to hearing Stand by your Side. I too was not familiar with Queen's version of that song, so I love how she turns us on to songs, and occasionally, people we've never heard of before. And I loved how she prefaced the final song with a "who I'd like to sing with" section. I could have seen her and Freddy doing a duet, that would have been interesting. I agree so wholeheartedly with the poster who said she excells at this soft, mature, balad kind of music and should incorporate songs like that on to her next English album. I would so love that, while at the same time realizing that so so many on here would hate it. I would have sooooo loved to hear Stand by your Side tonight, and also I Know What Love Is. Man that's the real kicker for me, that sooooooooo would have worked. Both those would have. I've never been a fan of treat her like a lady or refuse to dance, but there'll always be songs in every set list, by every artist, that we don't care for. I also agree with the person who said they'd love to see her end it's all coming back to me now with the final line, "and if we..." That would be awesome! I wish at least one Unison song had been done but that's the least of my upsets, not that I have all that many. I also agree that, while I love I'm Your Angel, two Barnev duets in one night? Come on. I think that's one reason why Incredible got axed in Vegas, though she needs to be doing new material there. And I'm sorry, but I LOVE How does a moment last forever. I hope she does keep that. So, no show Friday, right? Swededn Saturday, good to know. I hope there's a complete video of the show uploaded on YouTube soon, I still have not gotten to hear the whole entire thing yet!

Omg! I am speechless really. No complaints, great setlist and she sounded amazing! I want a better picture of the MHWGO dress. Just can't get over how good she sounded and especially on TCOML. She had me in tears! Loved the uptempo medley at the end. So proud to be her fan and wish I was there too! Hope we get a DVD it could be a 2 disc one English one French. I absolutely loved Love Of My Life! I was not familiar with the song. I listened to the original first, then to the live performance of Celine and I found it amazing!

Most importantly, THIS is the type of songs I wish Celine includes in her upcoming English album. It will be a dream to have an album consisting of soft, mature, emotional ballads like this one! I am not expecting her to only sing songs about lost love, there can be a variety of topics! However musically, I think she excels in this particular type of ballads. Her voice always shines in songs like The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, Tears In Heaven, S'il Suffisait D'aimer and so on! I think people will love such recordings! And personally, I have missed this Celine from LMBTL, TC and OH. It has been a while!

I think she could even write something like that. It surprises me that she hasn't still wrote songs (except one for Marc Dupré's wife and Don't Save It All for Christmas Day). I mean, she has music in her blood and if she would sit down a bit, she could create such beautiful songs.

As I said many times TTWIT sucks live, it never sounds good live, sounds amazing on the CD, awful live, I think a couple more songs from CELINE DION, UNISION and FALLING INTO YOU would make teh setlist 100% perfect, amazing she even sung a song from the Chrysler Album! I mean...ONE HEART hahahah

I m completely in LOVE with this show :

-The voice is in very good shape, it's near to be 100% live

-Last hits are sung (LMBTL, TC, IDAN)

-I'm Alive original version has come back, my dream has come true ! I really did not like the Mego remix in TTWT.

-Some gems have been put in the show like TCOML

-The Reason is here <3<3<3

-Black or white is so good with her sons ! So cute! And she is so good singing MJ songs

Celine has so much good songs in her repertoire, she may be the one and only able to do shows without any new CD or other stuff.

Dealing with outfits : I like it, Celine seems to be at ease , and she s having fun, so I like it !

I m in a biiiig hurryyyy to see her in London July 29th and in Nice July 20th

I m so happy the way she spoke after I drove all night, she is very proud and strong !

I'll go into a more thorough review tomorrow. For now, I will just say the following were the highlights for me:

1) "Love Is All We Need"!!!!!!!!

2) "Misled"!!!!!!!

3) "That's The Way It Is" IN FULL!!!!!!

4) "The Colour Of My Love" - SO emotional!!!!!

5) "Refuse To Dance" interlude!!!!!

Oh, did I mention "Love Is All We Need"? LOL

"Treat Her Like A Lady," "The Reason" and "Taking Chances" are definite followup favorites!

I am sooooooooo happy she did that's the way it is in full! So cool. Not a big fan of IDAN, Faith or even One Heart, the song, could have been better. Sorry, I know many of you hate that album but it's one of my faves actually! A lot of Unison songs would have worked great, too, like I feel Too Much, Love By Another Name, If Love is out the question, etc. I personally would like to hear If We Could Start Over and Loving every moment with you, but that's not happening and that's ok.

It was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! I am so depressed I am not there. But I probably wouldn't have made it out alive it's SO GOOD. I think now we can see why she has been preserving her voice so strictly for. I don't think she has ever sang as many songs fully live in as long as I can remember! I am beyond impressed.

Black Or White was so cool, except her phrasing was a little off. I'm sure she can fix that rather easily. Unless it was intentional.

Is there any reason they can't put some of these numbers into the Vegas show? The people would LOVE IT!! :'(

This live performance of Recovering is better than the studio version IMO. It is as if she re-introduced the song to me!

The songs are great!! Her voice is in GREAT shape -- Wow! and MHWGO 100% Live -- EPIC!

BTW, I hope she will consider pick some new costumes as it feels a bit weird. LoL. :-D

I loved the concert!!! I was listening it in the streaming and dancing and crying throughout the show... I cried with I'm Alive (wtf!) – happiness. Seriously, I just loved the beginning with TPOL and then doing the audience dance with IDAN, TC, LMBTL, TTWII and IA. I was like... ehmmm Celine, you won't have any other uptempo songs for later – I was utterly wrong. That medley is LIFE! I cannot wait to be in Berlin dancing and singing my heart out. Sorry for the people next to me, but I want to live this moment at full. Such a pitty I'm going by my own and I won't be able to share it (hey, but sometimes for this occasions it's better just to live something by yourself). Refuse to dance sounds so cool, she kills it with her head voice, so, so updated, LIAWN sounds modern too, I like all the EDM sounds they used, THLAL and M were good additions to it and I was impressed by her rendition of B&W! And then.. of course, LCMM and RDMH... I'm might be one of the few people who still enjoys them (just a little) but after dancing with that medley, it's going to be so great to rock with them live. I know it won't bother me in the concert.

For me BYLM and ABM are worse to listen than LCMM and RDMH... But I understand that there have to be songs for people who don't know anyhting but the hits, eventhough I don't like it. Same thing happens with IACBTMN but... nobody said anything about the adblibs at the end??? That gave me everything. Just soft, but something new.

TT is a masterpiece and I love the expectation of the audience for the climax – such a big ovation! I like the softness of Recovering and HDMLF (her best performance of this song to date) and I liked that My love came back. Of course, TCMOL was such a touching moment.

And the ending... Really really good performance of MHWGO and I thought I wouldn't like Love of my life, but it's such a nice song. I would prefer SBYS, but I don't complian, it's a great ending. Except that I have the feeling that the last note is really rushed.

Overall, such a great concert and I cannot wait to sing, dance and cry in Berlin!!!

The voice she had last night :wub: I'm watching all the videos now and wow, 1 month ago she barely had a voice for the Billboards but last night she was in top shape.

But hey, I think the star of this show wasn't Celine, it was Scott and his wonderful arrangements. Wow, that man brought Celine songs to a new level, they all needed a new fresh approach and he's making it. He deserves recognition for how the orchestra is playing her songs again, as if they sounded "new". Amazing!

The intro with TPOL first verse gave me chills from the start, it was like listening to the studio version!!! And I can totally see her efforts to perform it like in the original album version again :blush:

The vocals in Think Twice, the "no, no, no, no" part... Again, she clearly wanted to sing the song with her best voice like in the album, and I really appreciate that :wub:

Refuse To Dance: once more, you could see her efforts to perform this song as close as the original version, and she delivered :blush:

I wonder if she's restraining herself from speaking or talking too much in between concerts, or taking care of her voice for this tour more than usual. If so, it showed last night! Hope she keeps the great voice for the rest of the tour because that will make a difference when she performs the classics for the millionth time.

There were no lazy vocals in this first show, no tiredness nor boredom while singing, and just for that I'm totally in awe, because clearly Celine wanted to have her best voice for this show and the new songs she retrieved for this tour. Bravo for that :wub:

I still have to watch TTWII and IA closely. But really, if we don't get a DVD of this tour this time, they're going to be in trouble. They'd better film the first shows of this tour while she's displaying this great shape of voice, otherwise it will be such a shame and disappointment (just compare the voice of last night with the 2013 CD/DVD release, it totally pales in comparison!)

This show makes it clear that she's bored to death in Vegas and half-asses every show there. Because tonight was outstanding the voice is still there. Also, I freakin' love Treat Her Like A Lady now. It used to be so cringeworthy to me but now it just seems so natural for her. JFC......Celine is way cooler than I've ever been hahahaha

At one of the speeches she said that she's not locked up in Vegas forever. Sounds promising!

Dear friends, it's been said many times, many ways now... the moment she escapes from Vegas-jail, she's like a bird set free and she becomes a new singer :wub:

I could feel her boredom and relief when she openly said "I'm not going to stay locked up in Vegas for the rest of my life". Thank God! :innocent: :giggle:
