CelinesDIVO5 Posted June 16, 2017 at 12:57 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 12:57 PM You know.... Everything is perfect except for... the OUTFITS!!!! Law is only best for public appearances like Met Gala, Fashion Events. But for concerts... ANNIE HORTH! I actually liked most of the outfits. Law didn't dress her though. She dressed herself. 6 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

The 2nd outfit - No! I think the one she wear (white outfit) back in TCWT (remember? while singing Think Twice) is greater than this one. The 3rd outfit looks ok but they can make it better 4th outfit (MHWGO) looks great The last outfit.... i don't know For me, Annie Horth did an amazing job in styling céline for concerts while Law is best for Fashion events, Met gala, public appearance (walking out the hotel...) But maybe she'll change the outfits the next shows like her summer tour last year Edited June 16, 2017 at 01:28 PM by jpatdeleon09 Quote

Maybe she is here in Stockholm now She returned to Paris after the show, there is a video of her arriving at the hotel in Paris, in the video she seems to be tired, and there were some fans at the door of the hotel, it was 2 o'clock in the morning, let her rest. 1 Quote
Popular Post CelinesDIVO5 Posted June 16, 2017 at 01:34 PM Popular Post Posted June 16, 2017 at 01:34 PM (edited) I thought the concert was FANTASTIC. My biggest surprises were RTD and LIAWN. I was already hoping for TCOML, and it was BREATHTAKING. I love the reworking of POL and IACBTMN was beautiful and well needed. I ADORED TTWII. Great arrangement, and I like the faster tempo. I keep seeing people post on here that she should "retire the hits." She can't retire the hits. That's why they're hits! This set list is absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to see this show with my Lukey!! isabel leite Posted June 16, 2017 at 01:34 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 01:34 PM Just an observation, was I the only one that was laughing so hard when she dropped the mic? Not the fact that she dropped it, but the way she acts after is just so funny! 6 Quote

fred Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:03 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:03 PM Let me comment on some of the most bashed songs from last night's show: I do get why ML and HDAMLF are less good choices to include. ML had its run during the TC tour and her hommage to Rėne is done by ceveral other songs such as Recovering and TCOML. HDAMLF has its obvious reason to be there - the new BATB movie. But the song itself is despite very much talant behind it let's face it pretty bad.... I think including new relevant songs is a big plus but I am personally quite disapointed with HDAMLF as a song. I DO however think that TSMGO is very relevant now that it has a stronger meaning than in the 2008 tour. Now its a statement. Recovering may have been sung a lot but it too is a strong statement. I felt it natural to be there. And if it hadn't been I would had missed it. 4 Quote Peace and love to all.
Popular Post LukeD Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:10 PM Popular Post Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:10 PM (edited) I think Celine is passing some clear messages with this particular tour... 1.She supports her English discography. Be it classic songs or rare ones. 2.She pays tribute to Rene with meaningful songs, such as TCOML, ML, IYA, Recovering, TSMGO, LOML. 3.She stays true to to her Vegas residency. Almost 40% of what she sings in Vegas has been incorporated to this tour. In my opinion, she makes it clear that she loves what she is doing in Vegas and that she is not bored with it. Her performances of all these songs were mostly live yesterday, she did a great job singing them and people loved it. This is what I am getting from this tour and I personally find Celine to be on top of her game as a singer, performer and decision-maker. Edited June 16, 2017 at 02:15 PM by LukeD 13 Quote

emi&celine Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:18 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:18 PM I'm really happy with the setlist. I was hoping for TPOL as opening song! For me the highlight is Think Twice. With Misled, RTS and TCOML this sounds like a TCOML album revival!! Great! I'd like more songs from ANDHC or OH though. 5 Quote

LukeD Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:32 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:32 PM (edited) She does seem to make a lot of those whooping noises in her singing these days! Does anyone know what I'm talking about? What I noticed from this HQ clip is that she is nasal throughout the soft verse of TC. Especially the words ''again'' and ''in'' were as nasal as they could get. She sounded better in the chorus of the song and in IDAN. And from the way she moves I sense that she treats TC as a filler of this tour. Something to warm up the audience with! Edited June 16, 2017 at 02:32 PM by LukeD Quote

Daysleeper Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:38 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:38 PM I never really liked Love Is All We Need so much, but yesterday she gave it to it a special vibe and I liked it. Also, it is amazing how some songs sound good with the orchestra. Great arrangements! We all have our secret hopes and expectations for the setlist. As the show goes by we are awaiting fingers crossed for the next song hoping it will be one of our wishes. It's totally normal that we get little bit disappointed sometimes. The only thing is that we all handle our disappointments differently. Despite the fact she didn't sing some of the songs I was hoping for, I must say that the setlist was excellently compiled. I think it contained everything that a perfect setlist for a star of Céline's status should have: a retrospective of the biggest and smaller hits, two new songs, some surprises and "forgotten" songs (for the fans), two covers (a good entertainment for non-fans in the public), the balance between the uptempo songs and the ballads, the energetic climax and the touching finale... everything was there. My personal highlights: My Love, Think Twice, Refuse To Dance and That's The Way It Is and The Colour of My Love.I was surprised she didn't sing Immortality. I was kind of expecting it as she revived it recently. 7 Quote

Popular Post Nmj Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:47 PM Popular Post Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:47 PM One thing that I can really compliment the team on however is they only chose 2 covers, and both were shortened versions and instead she performed full versions of TTWII and IA. That's a step in the right direction, Also I'm sorry but Mego Lemay isn't missed, Scott is a far more superior musical genius. 9 Quote

minolli Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:54 PM Posted June 16, 2017 at 02:54 PM I've been listening to the full show on YouTube today (I missed the first half yesterday), and i just want to echo the praise for Scott and the musicians. I LOVED what they did with TPOL, and they actually made me like IDAN again, which I didn't think was possible. Only on to TC at the moment, but I'm liking this arrangement, too. Can't wait to hear TTWII! And all things considered, I think the setlist is great. We're never all going to agree on what makes the perfect Celine concert, and there are maybe 3 or 4 changes I would make, personally, but, really, this feels like a triumph of a show to me. Really excited to see what they have in store for the francophone shows. 3 Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lsg43qJH1b1qa4phqo1_400.jpg
