Very good setlist.

 

It seemed she has recovered a bit,vocally speaking.

 

I'm afraid of the second concert of the tour ..don't want to find out all the pre-recorded songs

 

And I was so shocked at the length of the show : 2h20! During TCWT it was 1h30 or so ...no more no less.

 

The only thing I want to add "nice try with LIALW"... 1m30 with a high pitch / nasal voice. .. she should sing it with a low voice ... Same mistake as "Lady marmelade "...

 

Let's enjoy it coz I fear that at the end of the tour there will be 8 songs cut.

 

I was thinking the same thing... I hope nothing gets cut! (Except “I’m Your Angel” hehe). The French tour last year was about 2 hrs, and she didn’t do any costume changes. PLEASE CÉLINE DON’T CUT ANYTHING!

She has so many of her own songs that never performed live...

By the way, will Madonna ever sing a Celine song? :wtf:

they should do a song together...
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

I'm really worried about the Upbeat medley.....just because of the crowd reaction....everyone was numb,.......there was more dancing and cheering on My Love :wacko: :wacko: :wtf:

Can anyone tell what Celine is telling the fans?

 

She wishes happy birthday to someone waiting for her, and said that she is too tired to take pictures and stuff like that, she needs "un dodo" is a childish word to say a sleep, she needs to sleep.

I never saw her sweating while performing. Did she take any supplements for that?? Because other performer will always get sweat after dancing and running on the stage. For example: KPOP singer that sweats so much.

She said in Un an avec Céline that it can as warm as you want on stage but she is never sweating.

I really hope that Celine read what was on the T-Shirt because some of the words are a little rude example ('The Biggest P***k). I personally like the T-shirt did Law or Celine chose the outfits

Overall, I'm very pleased with how this new tour has started. It is wonderful to have so many classics back in their original state, but with new arrangements! ("That's The Way It Is," I'm looking specifically at you!) I'm so glad she brought back "Think Twice" for her European fans. That had to be an amazing treat!

 

There are a few songs I think need some minor reworking. However, I think that will happen as Celine and the band play the songs more throughout the tour.

 

Did anyone notice Celine changed the word "mask" to "dark" during the bridge in "Loved Me Back To Life"? I wonder if that was a mistake on her part, or if she actually wanted to change the word to better match her emotions.

 

If it were up to me, these are the following changes I would make to the setlist. (Note: This does not imply I think the show sucked or was bad. These are merely PREFERENCES.)

 

1. The Power Of Love Then You Look At Me

2. I Drove All Night

3. Taking Chances

4. Loved Me Back To Life Somebody Loves Somebody

5. That's The Way It Is

Yes, I miss Somebody Loves Somebody and Unison in the set list. Just a Little Bit Of Love is one of my favourite. I would love to see Love You Blind, Your LIght or Water From The Moon, but it is my dream. :wub:

 

I would keep Loved Me Back To Life and replace I'm Your Angel with Somebody Loves Somebody. I'd like to see it after The Reason to "refresh" second part of the show, because there are too many slow songs in one line. Just my opinion. I'd replace also My Love with another track from Taking Chances, f.e.: Surprise Surprise or A world to believe in.

My husband said (because he watched live stream with me, but he is random fan), that she should perform Tell Him or Immortality instead of Beauty and the Beast, He doesn't know Beauty and the Beast, it wasn't popular in the Czech Republic and TH and I were big hits in Europe and she should perform one more french song from EUS album to promote it. And I agree with him.

 

Love Of My Life was wonderful, let's keep it, but I'd remove The Show Must Go On :-)

Confirmation that the Manchester shows have been moved to Leeds.

 

25th June shows remains the same date but 1st August show moved to 2nd August.

 

Edited to add: original tickets are NOT valid. Original tickets will be refunded and new tickets for new venue must be purchased.

I think I'd be speechless for the rest of my life if she ever acknowledged "Your Light" or "Love You Blind" onstage. I love both of those songs!

 

"Love Of My Life" is a beautiful song. Plus, her rendition was very emotional and touching. However, yet again, a cover song (allegedly) blocked a Celine original from gracing the stage. I want "Stand By Your Side" to see the light of day during this tour so badly. I'm okay with her performing it only once, and then reverting back to the Queen song. I would just love to have at least ONE video of the song being performed live. Is one too much too ask? I'm not asking for elaborate set/stage designs. Just she on a stool singing it is all it would take to make me a happy camper!

Interesting relocation.

 

I wonder why it wasn't Liverpool?

 

Either way so happy for those fans and hope everyone is able to juggle travel and accommodation plans around.

Just great that they aint cancelled! :)

That is FANTASTIC news! I'm so glad they got a new venue, and the shows are NOT cancelled! I'm so happy for the fans going to those shows!

I like the 1st outfit..

 

The 2nd outfit - No! I think the one she wear (white outfit) back in TCWT (remember? while singing Think Twice) is greater than this one.

 

The 3rd outfit looks ok but they can make it better

 

4th outfit (MHWGO) looks great

 

The last outfit.... i don't know

 

For me, Annie Horth did an amazing job in styling céline for concerts while Law is best for Fashion events, Met gala, public appearance (walking out the hotel...)

 

But maybe she'll change the outfits the next shows like her summer tour last year :)

I think he's getting to excited because I dont think he will even see Celine hahaha.

She has her own stylist and I think he will only do the crew.

 

But it's in the newspaper and all haha, I want to destroy his dream and news, but I already feel sorry
