I sat next to Ramona front row back in 2007 with her daughter. Both were lovely and fun!

I have nothing against Ramona but I don't think the person with the most disposable income to spend on concerts automatically designates her the title of "biggest fan". Richest fan with alot of free time is more fitting. Again, I have nothing against Ramona. She seems to be a nice person.

 

 

I only referred to her as Celine's biggest fan, because she was kind of given that title on T.V. when she met Celine backstage on her Taking Chances tour. There was a segment of it on the news and they gave her that title, because of the amount of times she's seen Celine perform live over the years . That being said, I don't agree. I like to think of myself as Celine's biggest fan. :P :laugh:

 

Kidding aside, I agree that the amount of times a person goes to her concerts, spends there money and has meet and greets doesn't make them her biggest fan. Personally, I think every member of this forum are her greatest fans.

 

The level of dedication and admiration we all share for this wonderful woman is equally clear. :)

A little off topic here but, anyway does anybody know or heard any thing about a summer tour plans for this up-coming summer,? I know there has been roomers floating around , I surprised that they haven't announced any thing yet?

 

 

Actually Scott Price told to a couple of fans at the hotel in Antwerp that they are planning to do a tour next year, but didn't mention exactly when. They will probably visit different countries than they did on this last tour, and I would say the tour will most likely be organized to promote the upcoming English album.

 

Also, The Red Heads recently posted this on Facebook, which makes me think that the upcoming tour will visit selected countries from Europe and Asia... :hmm: Time will tell.

I can't imagine her launching off on a full-blown (even mini) tour anytime soon. But it would be great if her Vegas contract allowed for some mini-residencies elsewhere, so she could set up shop in a few other global centers for a few weeks at a time. London, New York, Tokyo...people will travel to see her. And she could still give the kids some semblance of normality, like she did when she settled down in Paris for a month this summer.

I know right! It was just the perfect little gem of a song to end the show with that really showed off the fluidity of her voice and her artistry.

Also awfully disappointed to see this one gone. Truly one of the best things about that show. A real shame they cut it.

It may have been emotionally difficult for her to sing lately. The last time I watched her perform it, she was emotional. I am sorry it was cut. It is a beautiful song, and her version is amazing. But, it wouldn't surprise me if it was just too difficult to sing lately (especially given all the interviews where she has been asked about life without Rene). Or, who knows, maybe she just wanted to change the show up a bit. Regardless, I hope it is on her next album (and I already know 20 people will disagree with this because it is a cover blah blah etc).

To the ones that have gone so far. Are her bodyguard still there , The last time I ve seen video's there where 2 guards up front that Ive Never seen before

I think all that's happening creatively is a Celine Dion musical. I don't know if I'm wrong, but I think that's what they are planning,not a cirque du soleil. A new day part 2 kind of thing?

There is no "change" happening to Celine Dion's Las Vegas show. The Cirque thing you're thinking of is that a man who used to be in charge of Cirque, in some capacity, has been brought on board her team to create a completely new show, not having Celine in it, that is a musical based on her life and using her music, to be sung by a completely different person. That will be several years down the road.

I don't post a lot on this forum but read it constantly. When I post things, people usually attack me, so I refrain from doing so. However, I went to see her in Vegas in this last round of shows, and ran into Scott in one of the elevators. I asked him about a DVD cuz I was curious. He told me he doubted a DVD would be released until the 2019 contract was finished, or possibly, a couple of months before it is to be finished. He said he wasn't necessarily in charge of such things but he hasn't heard anyone mention anything about even the possibility of filming it for a DVD release.

Thanx for the insight. I always thought they would start filming once the show was about to end. It is way too soon right now!

The final year is definitely the best idea for a DVD filming and release. Just like happened with 'A New Day...', this way lets us get the ultimate version of the show and, hopefully, some extended bonus documentaries showcasing the evolution of the show.
