For those who have watched A New Day before.. The Power of Love part -- is it obvious that she's lipping (the pre-recorded track)? i mean at first she sings it live. Is the transition from live to playback obvious?

Just to take an example, If you watch the TPOL performance that Oprah came for opening night, yes the transition is obvious which she started live so nasal, then the playback kicks with no nasal. And the drums also a bit unsynchronised.

Well, i remember watching taking chances tour fan cams in youtube and the transition is so obvious.

Her voice is so clear and... strong. (4:27-4:35) that voice :)

and before she doesn't use vibrato much like " A Neeeeeeeeeeeeeew Day!" now she use it so much "I'm recovering eng eng eng"

I will never forget the February 28, I Saw Celine in the Coliseum and my picture was in the big screen. The best moment in my life. The show was incredible, nothing compared with the videos of youtube. Is an unique and incredible experience. Her voice was gorgeous.

Same here! Shadow of love sounded cool and fresh on the album but the live arrangement was awful. And i do not understand why always lowering the key? She yells even higher notes in purple rain..so it is not that she cannot sing in that key..

That's because she Mixes her voice in purple rain. While in SOL it is full chest voice for the verse and chorus. Vocal mixing is her expertise now. That's she can mix easily in purple rain, LCMM and RDMH and also in bridge of TSMGO. And she got a bit trouble to do full chest voice now.

Hi guys, now with the knowledge of her summer touring schedule, does anyone have ANY (inside) information about when she'll sart Vegas again after the tour?

 

Last year it was late september, but she did a tour in both Europe AND Canada.

This year, for all we know right now, she only tours Europe... (or is more to be anounced soon?) So, will she start Vegas earlier than last year (end of August maybe)?

 

Anyone, any info? Would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

She is usually consistent with her schedules. I expect her to be back to performing to Vegas on September again. I have no official info though!

In 2015 she started end of August, in 2016 mid/end of September....

And this year the last show of her European tour is beginning of August (while last year it was end of Aug.)

That's why I'm wondering what it will be like this year.

 

When do you think they'll announce Vegas? Usually her schedule was announced already by this time, or am I wrong?

 

It's so difficult to plan anything with all those last minute announcements!! :cry:

Law's posted on Instagram a nice little interview he did with Daily Front Row- it was hard to make out- but he confirmed they're working on adding new dresses to the show. He also says he doesn't like Vegas and is there more than he'd like. Céline is always singing so he sings along...she is so graceful and he has learned a lot from her, especially from her work ethos. That's most of the Céline related info.

I didn't knew him before Celine and I think he's quite new in showbizz. He did work with Zenda before Celine.

And now already on ANTM, and working with Ariane Grande for her outfits for the tour.

 

But who knows, I could all be wrong haha
