She should close her eyes when doing the belting part at the end of The Power of Love like sh used to back in 2003-2007 instead of looking left and right. It’s kinda obvious now

So close to perfect but still so amazing. And quite a save.

I have to admit that I'm a little bit annoyed by how she's singing CHFIL nowadays. That little runs that she does, i just finds it to be annoying. I hope that she can give CHFIL a rest and do another song. Anyone feels the same?

No, you're not alone feeling that... Can't Help Falling In Love, At Seventeen, The Voice... It has happened before and always happens: everytime she recycles in Vegas a song that has been premiered or occasionally and specifically performed for a specific moment (like the aforementioned), it eventually loses its magic after a bunch of consecutive performances :down:

No need to include The Voice in Vegas.

I have a different opinion about you´re the voice and at seventeen. You´re the voice is obviously a big favorite of Celine, it brings fun to the show, everybody sings along, it´s just great energy and the public seems enjoying it, as I do. At seventeen relates very much to the two other acoustic songs. She tells a story with this medley, which is beautiful. CHFIL can and should go, in my opinion. This song belongs to the 2018 tour and without the high notes, it´s just not the same. This song should be saved for very special performances, not for being sung as a constant part of a setlist. Somewhere over the rainbow (like 2015) or maybe immortality would fit much better as a final encore, or move BYLM to the end as the final encore (it has the meaning of a final encore and it´s a great way to thank the fans, while singing). She could sing another song after í´m alive, for example loved me back to life. It bothers me a bit, that celine sings it so rarely. Not only because it´s one of my most favorite songs (she loves the song also I believe, when I´m thinking about the making of video), but it´s the title song of her last english album, which should be represented in her shows, atleast with one song. In the key of the 2013 sans attendre tour and with the visuals of the 2017 tour, I´m sure it would look stunning. Just my two or three cents

I don't find it annoying but she's not feeling it like on the tour and she doesn't perform it her best. She is holding back. And to be honest it's not easy to do these runs night after night, she was just tiring her voice. I don't blame her for singing it like this but when you have heard the absolute best quite a few times, it's logical to not like the current versions as much. The only bad thing for me is that i find myself getting stressed everytime about how she will sing it..which is crazy.

It's not her song and most people there don't know it, but in the end everyone is standing up singing it and they seem to have a good time. Most important for me is Celine to have fun. If she is having fun the shows will continue and will be great. She sings many songs that she doesn't really want to..let her have at least one she still wants.

Whatever songs she chooses to sing, after the 100th time of her singing them and the 1000th time of us hearing them, the magic will be lost. It's actually surprising to me, given the fact of how easily i get bored, how on earth i can still watch more that half of her show (most of the times with miserable video and sound quality) and still enjoy it and still loving the way she performs each time.

BMBTL, although It's one of my favorite songs and i would love to hear her sing it, it's a difficult song to perform 4 times a week i think. If she was to add it in the program, it would be lipped at some parts, if not entirely, and then people would complain just like they did about TLYM. Also, it doesn't really fit with the current LV set up. It feels to me more of a stadium type of song with a younger crowd.

For whatever reason, they could never come up with a good live arrangement of LMBTL, it always just dragged. They tried to use live drums when they should’ve used a drum machine. Background vocals also didn’t work well either. It almost ended up sounding like a ballad vs a mid tempo.

Happy New Year to all! I’m on the plane on the way to Vegas now! Will keep you all updated as always.

It's just so tacky... makes her look like Liberace. All the Vegas excesses people accused her of in the early years. You know, "Celine Dion is so kitschy, she and Vegas are made for each other". That's... exactly what this suit says to me. Not flattering at all.

(Also, the all-gold treatment just makes me think of Trump, and that's an obvious :sick: )

What is the cheapest price for Celines show? if I go , don't think I can afford sitting front this time ….if I had more time to save I would, never expected the show to finish so early in the year !

If a DVD of this show is going to be filmed, please bring back the Armani and Versace dresses. Celine looked gorgeous on those. I love the new golden Dior but all the other dresses IMO were more flatering to her figure.

Guess I'm the only one that looks forward to CHFIL every night. I like the fact that she is changing it up on some nights, whether because she's toying with the song or finding ways to disguise a tired voice. It interesting to see how creative she can get with it. Last night was one of the most different ones, I loved it.

And she definitely still feels the song, just as much as the people there.

CHFIL sounds absolutely terrible. Way to many runs. Completely all over the place. Comparable to fergie's national anthem.

Lol, how so? She took the simple melody of a beautiful song and completely went off with it. Pretty comparable actually.

1) She still sounded great tonally and was able to stay in key, especially considering the fact that she was doing it acapella, Fergie couldnt do it with full music and aiding in her in ears

2) It still had good technique, she maintained consistency in her placement, not dropping resonance or support once and creatively dodging things she felt she wasnt vocally capable of doing

3) She still stuck to the basic melody, yes she did alot of runs but she never once slipped out of the melody or went completely off tune. She maintained that through the phrasing and the actual verses

4) She still sounded gorgeous, not like a screaming cat

Fergie was completely off tune the entire time, had awful technique constantly switching between a forced low larynx and a forced high larynx with all sorts of tension and technical flops. Fergie wasnt even able to stick to the provided melody, let alone considering how basic it is, never once did she stick to the melody. And finally, Fergie sounded literally horrible, cant say the same for Celine. Say what you want about her musicality and runs but she still sounded good

Agreed! I thought it was a lovely rendition.

We are just used to the amazing versions she’s done in the past but to that audience I’m sure it was stellar.
