Waiting for some *new* music from Céline, chapter 327.649...

 

Here we are now, some fans trying to find a reason why to keep in the show setlist a song that was recorded 22 years old by Céline and has been invariably included in every tour and show Céline has done since 1997... performed like 1,200 times, almost on par with MHWGO...

 

This is getting pathetic... and worst is that you'll have that song tonight again in Vegas, as well as the same exact program she's been doing before :giggle:

 

(Hope I eat my words and she performs a Christmas song at least... :innocent: )

Yeah, maybe if the show were in Europe, where people celebrate Christmas beyond the 25th. But definitely not in the US. There’s no way you’d hear a Christmas song after the 25th. People throw out their Christmas trees before the day is even done.

I think he meant something more like new year's song, and perform it in very few shows, just for the sake of it.

 

Edit: Actually i would love for her to sing such a song acapela as an encore instead of CHFIL!

I’ve got a feeling that she will practice whatever song she is performing at Arethas tribute over the next few performances. She has used Vegas to test other things recently...

Exactly! Here we celebrate Christmas and holidays beyond the 25th and way past the new year's eve, and in Spain the biggest day for children is not before the 6th of January, when they get presents like most countries do on the 25th December but here we also got the "three wise men" :giggle:

 

So commercially Christmas goes well into January for some places! ^_^ Christmas songs are being played loud and strong these days... :blush:

The YTV speech here, is this when some guy kept yelling out to Celine to just sing? She directed herself towards someone in the audience here and told them to let her talk cause she loves to talk and this is her chance. "I've got the microphone so I talk whenever I want to talk" She shut him down quick lol.

 

I haven't heard/seen the Ashes speech in a while but I can clearly see in my mind every gesture she makes lol.

"this is my best side but that's another story" - wouldn't mind hearing that one, for a change. Just a little haha. Well, general audience are still really enjoying the Ashes speech XD

 

She has the classiest way of making people stop talking :giggle:

But theres footage of her performing it on November 13th (not 11th soz lol) and after that we only have one actual YT video on the 16th which is a 4 minute compilation video so thats not much to go off of.

It's not long now, so exciting!! :clap: I love that's she's finally back and I wonder if there will be any changes to costumes or set list tonight?

I just posted the entire show recording two days ago from when I was there on November 16th
