Has "Think Twice" come back yet?

 

As much as I want it back, I have a feeling Think Twice might not come back before the summer tour... a few guesses/assumptions:.

 

1) Her 2018 summer tour is coming up and she's trying to preserve her voice as much as possible.

2) The typical American audience is not familiar with the song and they probably don't care, making the song an easy cut.

3) The song was added to the Vegas set list in September 2017 after the summer tour in Europe. She enjoyed singing as a "duet" with her guitarist during the tour and wanted to bring it to Vegas. It's now been a while however, and while she's had fun with it, she's probably okay with taking a break for now.

Also this one is from earlier in the week but interesting. Basically it's the gift the fans put together for her 50th bday and it was done in her dressing room not like a normal meet and greet and the ring was apparently too small?? There was an explanation but since been removed and changed to the video that she posted of Celine thanking the fans. Apologies if any of this info is incorrect I'm not great at reading french and Vanessa's post at the time was in french

Sorry guys, I have no new pics tonight. I decided to go phone free in the pit for this show and you know what, it was incredible!!!!!!!! I was able to fully absorb myself and suck in every last drop of energy instead of worrying about pics or vids. As much as I adore all of that stuff, sometimes technology robs us of the real experience. I always say I’m going to go phone free and never have been able to until tonight. So glad I did!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ok just a little observation here, she sure says "don't go see the movie" a lot. I know she's talking about children specifically but we all know how things get taken out of context. The voice itself is tired and weak, she really needs to train it as she did in the 90´s, it does not sound healthy as it was last summer where it was flexible. I don’t criticize her, it’s not against her, it’s just if you compare the record and the live, there is a huge gap in my opinion. And musically it does not sound good. It’s not against her... please, I mean she earns each night in Vegas 500 000 $ !!!!!! Audience deserves a singer who take care a little bit more of her voice as she did in the past, like she said in 1998 on French Television, if you love to sing, if singing is your life, so you have to do it good ! And sorry but after a break of 4 months, she does not sound good at all ! And people pay for this. So when you are singer, and when people pay more than 200$ to see you and hear you live...and when the show is more than 30% of playback, it’s a lack of respect for people who pay 200$

Vocal cords are not an object. If our talking voice changes trought the days, imagine a singing one. Even with all the care, sometimes a change is inevitable. Celine has been to a lot lately and we don't even know the extension of what happened with her health.

 

Really, if the people paying are expecting perfection, better stay in home and listen to the album. Live shows will always shows voice's imperfections and, to be honest, that's what's make interesting.

Even if Celines voice sounded like it did in 1995, she would still lip certain songs to keep it that way. Regardless of the quality of her live voice, lipped songs are lipped for a reason. You think 30% lipped is disrespectful.... hopefully you never see a Mariah Carey show

She doesn't "need" to do anything. And she doesn't want to train it like she did in the '90's.... and newsflash: we're not living in the '90's and Céline a "bit" older.

If you break your leg.... do you expect it to be 100% again after so little time? Give her a break, at least she can sing again (and still better than most other singers, especially her age). Give.it.time.

To be honest, after seeing Celine live in Antwerp in 2016 and in Paris in 2017, I'm kinda worried and scared about her vocal condition those days... 😞

 

Of course, there's the surgery.. but, guys, let's be honest with ourselves. Her voice and singing are AWFUL since she came back on stage! Even her english pronunciation is really weird now! It's like she doesn't care at all about her voice anymore!

 

Honestly, I don't know what to think about that...

Funny how amazing she looks onstage with lightning and all.

 

I dont think her dress or the curtain and lightning behind her during the M&G do her justice.

I remember last year same time, it was the same vocal condition or worse. She couldn't even do the "yeah yeah yeah" in RDMH.
