Does anyone have an overview of the show program books that Celine had from the beginning of her Las Vegas era?

How many books are there, and what do they look like?

Haha the fansite who posted news about an dvd release, tourdates, re-edition of UPDN with dvd and live.

Now have some news coming up for her birthday show...

 

So now we know that all the other news they brought to us didn't happen for whatever reason.

Let's get excited for this news.

I seem to recall in some prior years she’s maybe more “playful” than normal and adlibs here and there in the spirit of the night. Not sure if there would be more official songs though. You kinda get the feeling that a major overhaul is on the way...

New "competition" alert:

 

Gaga confirms a Vegas residency.

I don't buy the numbers that have been floating around though (100 million for 50 shows? She wishes...)

 

Since Gaga's pretty much over internationally, it might be a good move for her...Let's see her find a way to spin this so she can cancel her European dates (that no one wants to come see).

 

(I really don't like her, is it obvious? 😁)

she has difficulty in Europe?

Her original dates didn't sell out, so she postponed. Official reason was 'illness' (she's claimed so many diseases, from lupus to arthritis to fibromyalgia...).

 

And most of her tickets still haven't sold out for the new dates...Loads and loads of seats left in every price range just a few weeks before the show.

i had no idea...thanks :) i don't hate her but she changed styles so many times in the last few years, it is hard to know what she is at for the moment.

The article posted by nuts2you says Gaga will perform about 36 shows (and she will earn around $400,000 per show).

 

By the way, I don't think she's competition... Gaga will bring in a different crowd. Some overlap but not much in my opinion.

I agree with Sherri, I do like her more now that she isn't wearing meat, not that I could see that, but still. I do know a few peole who love both Gaga and Celine, and while I personally can't understand how that can be done, I know it is. I do hope/think they'll bring in different crowds. I don't know if this has been posted but here is an article (from La Presse newspaper) saying that the Winnipeg Jets hockey team recently went to see Celine in Las Vegas. They said good things about her and her stage presence...they also said that they sometimes play MHWGO in the locker room after a victory! lol

People can say what they want about Céline, but she really is the singer that put Vegas on the map for current entertainers! After Céline started AND so many have followed; Britney, J.Lo, Toni Braxton, Cher, Elton John, Bette Midler (ok ok the last aren't that current :P But you get what I mean. Céline (and René!) should really get the credits for this!

I think her last hit here (at least Holland) was Applause. And that was a minor one. There's so much craziness and weirdness an European can handle to like! ;) :P

What other people are doing and a new artist coming to Vegas have never really influenced Celine in a significant way. I don't see why Gaga turning up in Vegas would have any affect on Celine's show at all.

It won’t negatively impact her show at all, in fact, it’ll probably bring more prospective attendees.

I don't think Celine ever really cares about the competition in Vegas. She will probably send her flowers and wish her well! She said more or less in that interview with Robin Roberts when she asked her about Mariah coming to town.
