Regarding the chair, most of the stuff on tour for production is taken from the colosseum, so it's only natural that after returning from the tour that everything production wise ( which wasn't rented ), returned to the colosseum. And as Celine has only 2 shows left it's probably all getting packed up again until the end of Dec when she's back, which is why it was possibly spotted last night.

 

It may make it to the huge lockup in Vegas, where she houses all of her previous show costumes etc.

It will be one amazing exhibition in years to come to see if all again show cased just like the Elvis exhibition that tours, I'm sure that will happen! :)

I wonder how much she has actually spent seeing Celine?

 

Why dont you go see the show yourself and stop worrying about how much money other people spend on seeing the show? Everyone is so concerned about other people and how much they go to the show? Fans should be happy for other fans when they go see Celine not make nasty comments.

Wow ok, it was only a passing comment, that was a bit unexpected.

 

And if you want to know since 2011 I've been to Vegas five times, seen her in Paris and Antwerp, twice in Montreal and 4 times on tour this summer. So umm yeah maybe I should actually go and see her in Vegas as you say. I'm sure I could find an excuse to go again next year!

We regret to inform you that tonight’s performance (Wednesday, November 22) of Céline Dion at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been cancelled. Céline is recovering from painful lower back spasms, and is on doctor’s orders to take tonight to rest. Céline is expected to resume performances at The Colosseum as scheduled on Friday, November 24. Céline, Caesars Palace and AEG apologize for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders.

Celines show for tonight has been cancelled. Apparently shes recovering from lower back spasms and is ordered to rest tonight.

I wonder what caused her back spasms. Perhaps it was caused by those crazy yoga moves she does onstage every night. I hope Celine feels better soon. :down:

I was there tonight, she didn't come on until 8:15. Dave Platel was talking over the speaker at 8:00 said Celine was feeling under the weather today but was here getting ready and was going to perform.

 

I guess Dave Platel is still acting as her manager. I wonder if that's permanent. . .

Sad to hear Celine is suffering from lower back spasms. I suffer from alot of back pain so I can understand how she must be feeling. I also want to apologize for bailing last night on the updates but Vancouver suffered a total blackout so I was only able to get onto my data for a very short time (because I am over my monthly limit so I was paying extra) and use it to let you guys know that I was done for the night. I didn't have time at that moment to explain myself so that's why I wanted to let everyone know today what exactly had happened. As long as Celine feels better and the shows resume I will see you all Friday night.

Wow. Judging by the videos from last night, I would never know that Celine was experiencing any back issues at all. Celine is such a trooper. I know she must have had to be in severe pain in order to cancel tonight's show, so I hope she is doing okay and gets well soon. I just wonder what caused this to happen though?

 

I guess it's all those crazy back bends and yoga moves that she does every night. Speaking of yoga moves. I can't believe she still did that insane leg pretzel move last night. :o Goes to show how much Celine cares about giving us the best show possible. Even in pain, she still gives 120% of herself! :wub: #goals, #inspirational.

I'm proud of Céline for being on stage on Tuesday. I'm currently suffering from back spasm and have been away from work 2 days this week. It's so painful and you can't really sleep at all. Just walking, lifting a cup and standing up from bed is super painful.

So yeah I'm proud of Céline for going ahead with the show on Tuesday.

I really don’t know how she does it.

Quite separate from her natural talent, what’s staggering to me about Celine is how much she carries on her shoulders without ever showing any signs of stress.

 

Every time I get overwhelmed by my job I just think of just how stressful her gig must be.

Yeah, she does what she loves, and I guess that part comes naturally. But she has so many people counting on her to be there, to be 100% at all times. If I have an off day, it’s not like a multi-million dollar deal is gonna fall through (I do mergers & acquisitions); there are always other people who can step in. But when Celine has an off day, thousands of people are thrown for a loop. She’s the definition of a key man clause. And think of all the people she employs, and how many families she indirectly feeds. It’s a lot to carry on one's shoulders.

She use to have Rene to share the burden, but now she’s a single mom of 3 with a massive entertainment empire on her shoulders, and she still does so much and does it so well.

It’s really quite inspiring.

I am equally proud of her for going on and, as controversial as this might sound, and feels to me, for following the doctor's orders to rest. I go back to a moment in through the eyes of the world where one of the doctors tells her, when she severely objects to canceling, if we don't rest now, it will be worse later and for longer. The hard part for me when she cancels is that she had Rene to console her before and put things in balance/perspective. Now she doesn't and that makes me so sad. I hope, for more than just the sake of the show, that she is feeling better. Who the heck wants to be sick so close to thanksgiving, even if they don't celebrate that! lol
