Her original dates didn't sell out, so she postponed. Official reason was 'illness' (she's claimed so many diseases, from lupus to arthritis to fibromyalgia...).

 

And most of her tickets still haven't sold out for the new dates...Loads and loads of seats left in every price range just a few weeks before the show.

 

She had to cancel/reschedule a lot of dates here too because of her illness. I think she's amazing. Super talented, and a good person.

Hi all! Any idea if the New Years Eve show will be any different? I have tickets and am really excited either way!

 

I saw her in 2003 for the new years eve show and it was not different at all. The only thing she said was Happy New year and that was it. But the current show gives her more opportunity to do something different.

Talent cast aside, what I find weird is that Lady Gaga can have his own residency and her iconic status is only based on.... 1 album.That's completely crazy. Her discography is:

 

The Fame/The Fame Monster which was huge

Born this way capitalized on the FM but was quickly forgotten

Artpop was a flop

Her jazz and country album hardly sold 1 million.

 

And here she comes...with a residency.

 

I once thought a residency was built on a solid and steady background career.

If there will be changes, it can really be anytime. These past few years, she tends to incorporate changes during a run, as opposed to the first show of a run (like was the case 5+ years ago)..
