Wow, hands down the best Celine special ever. Her reactions were priceless. Gamut of emotions from A to Z. So many special moments. And so many people and songs that clearly meant so much to her.

This is how it should be done!

 

Oh, and she looked amazing.

Ok I just watched the entire thing finally. WHAT A WONDERFUL SHOW!!! First of all, the arrangements, the medleys....FANTASTIC work! A wonderful wonderful music show.

And Celine...well, her reactions were priceless....she wanted to jump on that stage and sing with them SO bad!!!!

 

For anyone who wants to watch from outside Canada, download Hola VNP, install it in Chrome, choose Canada and you'll be able to watch the show without any problems from the original link.

That's what I always wonder with these French specials... the guest have the best songs, the most interesting arrangements... and Céline ends up lipping ABM or MHWGO :rolleyes: :cry:

I love her reaction when Michel sang his song and then she is in that gorgeous dress and climbs on stage! :sofunny:

 

One question though, who is this Gregory guy and why has he been on Celine specials before? He escorted her off the stage when she was hugging everyone.

Gregory Charles has been in Québec show business for decades.He was one of Céline's back singers many years ago.

This wasn't a "French special" as you call it.It's a show we can watch every Saturday night since 2008 and it is always as big as this one for Céline.The guests have the best songs? These were the songs that had a great influence on Céline's life and Céline mentioned them herself in the preparation of the show.She was not going to sing them in a tribute to herself,was she?

I think you mean FYOPIX on YouTube. Their channel just got re put up on YouTube.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

I can't stop watching this. So many precious moments. When they brought out her family. And Robin. And Ginettte. Isabelle Boulay singing Avec le temps. When she talked about Rene proposing to her... sigh. The whole thing was just perfect.

 

I know she says she doesn't like surprises and prefers to be in control, but the surprises and her reaction to them are exactly what made this show so great - we got a pure, unscripted reaction.

 

Kudos to France Beaudoin and team for such a great show.

 

And I think she won a lot of people over last night. The usual audience for that show is not necessarily Celine fanatics but I think it was all so spontaneous and real that it was impossible not to fall at least a little bit in love with her, even for the cynical and jaded! ;)

I'm downloading it at this very moment.It's a huge 1.38GB file.I don't know what exactly what I'm going to translate in this video.I don't intend to translate the French songs,but what about when Céline starts crying when hearing a song? The lyrics must be important for her.Maybe people didn't notice but when a song began,there was written info for a few short seconds,especially in a medley,at the bottom of the screen.It told why Céline selected this song to be performed.This was very informative about her.

I LOVE Condor. I sent him a message yesterday and asked for it to be translated. I hope he does, crossing my fingers.

 

 

I loooooooved this show. I think it was the best one Céline has been on and I enjoyed it so much even though I didn't understand all of what Céline was saying.
