Somehow I do not think it is the people who attended the concerts who buy the people but the casual fans due to the "promotion" - there has been a lot of press since June, even during the summer. So they grab the classic (D'Eux), the best offs and the last releases.

 

If there are album/DVD of the concerts in the future and that a casual fan buys it, then he might be interested in buying 1F4T.

I was surprised too. Also TLBSEPT got a cold reception during its intro. As if people ignored it. What I keep from this is that we - hardcore fans - have the tendency to consider songs classics and fan-favorites when they are not. Maybe this will help us be a bit more grounded. Oh, good grief! The main reason why Cher's "Believe" became such a massive hit and iconic is because it was something NEW to music at the time. Well, at least to mainstream radio. Cher herself stated the song had been already been written WELL before the song released. However, they shelved it because it didn't quite have that extra thing needed to elevate it. However, when she learned of Roachford and what he was doing with vocoders, she wanted to add that affect to the song. So, while it wasn't quite a vocoder they used, the effect was somewhat the same. She wasn't doing it because she didn't have the vocals compared to Celine, nor was she doing it because it was the "in thing" at the time. She did it to help add ornamental elements to an already great song. The rest is history.

I am really excited to see the legs on this song as the album is released!!! Maybe #1 again???? (Although I do think it is almost time for a new single, we don't have the video yet. That is a little frustrating.)
