I think when releasing a dvd it must be top notch. Only using frontcameras won't work. For a dvd to be interesting you need to film from many different angles, otherwise you get static boring images. And that does not sell!

We have already seen some pro live videos from this tour with fully zoomed in Celine. That was really boring camerawork.

They will go for perfection. Probably work on the audio again etc.

With so less concerts to come and no news about dvd filming i think this time we really will not get one. Such a shame because it might be her best tour ever .

FINALLY edited and uploaded my full audio from August 5, 2016... This is the show where Céline flubbed the lyrics to MHWGO during the first chorus for the first time in 20 years.

 

The audience was on fire and I especially LOVE her performance of "Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi" at this show...

For some reason, a bit sad that tonight is her last in Quebec. I know she still has the other little town to go to and do some benefit show? there, but to see her leave Quebec, all that excitement, knowing what she has to come back to, well, not has to cuz she chose it and I do think there are parts of it she enjoys, is sad. I think she deserves the hype of Paris and Montreal all the time she performs, but we all know she ain't gonna get it.

Shania met Celine's backup singers, so I would imagine that she got to see Celine. Maybe Celine didn't have time, or possibly didn't even know Shania was there though. I hope we get a pic. They haven't been seen together since 2003. I think that means it's about time for a new Celine and Shania pic!

 

I would think that if they met, we would have a pic by now though, but I'm still holding out hope that it's floating around out there waiting to be released. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, I just think they want to keep it private. David was in Vegas and at the show and they don't have a pic so I think there are many people who don't do a pic with her that see the show. (celebrities)

I'll be fully satisfied if they do. But really, her voice now sounds extremely tired. During the last TLBSEPT she sounded like she was going to crack actually. And MHWGO started to sound raspy (as in February-March in Vegas) again. I still enjoy it, but I just guess that if they do record those shows, they will use a lot of pitch-correction or even alter some notes with the ones recorded in the studio (like with TCWT DVD).

Anyway, a DVD will be perfect for me in any case

I was at the show last night

 

I had the most crappy seat ever but hey, it was last minute and I only wanted to be there for her

last concert in Québec. Same outfit as premiere night but she didn't take the jacket off this time.

 

Many times she had tears in her eyes because it was her last show in Québec...

I'd be curious if the screen has the real lyrics or her revised ones for the bridge part. I'd love to see that pic of taken likr 4 seconds later lol.

 

On another note, her voice has really started to sound tired and strained the past couple shows in comparison to show she sounded in europe and the first week of montreal.

 

I must say. She sure is amazing, but at 48 her voice, as strong now as it is, maybe some of that durability is less than what it was even in 2011 and certainly years before. The stamina of not tiring as much during a tour. But then again, she tired off even in tcwt.

 

As much as I want a DVD coming up, it will be disappointing foe it to be on the last show if she sounds the worst of the whole tour. Early on, the ending of ordinaire and thr c#5 in tous les blues were always so spot on that it sounded lipped (obviously in my better judgment I know french songs on tour have not been lipped ever), but it was amazing watching those notes be pretty much identical night after night. Now both are struggling and sound bad.

 

But let's keep in mind , this tour she is probably singing more songs than ever before in a show with fewer playback than any show since 1992 , and many of the songs are hard. I keep this in mind when I see her voice weakening as the tour goes on. It just makes me wish a DVD was recorded earlier.

 

But to be honest, I don't think were getting any DVD anyway lol

The ending note probably didn't help her voice either. Throughout the song she sounded kinda grainy and almost a little lower...liked a couple notes in the second verse though

We've been telling that from the early stages of the tour, that if a DVD was meant to happen, it'd better be filmed at the start of the show, during the first dates...

 

That said it's completely normal that at the end of August she sounds tired if she's been singing live all (or most) of the songs.
