It'd be so nice to at least have a cd of this show. Actual emotion and strength to her voice instead of USF where really I don't think she gave a crap

 

Wasn't USF after Rene's second diagnosis? I don't think Celine has done many thing without giving crap for no reason. That's why I'm asking :mellow:

I'm not sure- I think so. I just mean she wasn't in the moment. You can see her attitude on the behind the scenes footage when it was over etc. I think there was a lot preoccupying her, that's for sure. It was a different Celine to the marvel we have witnessed this summer

By the way, you mention behind the scenes footage....I know you'll bash me for this because I SHOULD know but what footage are you referring to? I don't think I've found anything besides a few clips shown on L'ete Indien.

I saw a "professional" footage in a news item about the album. They showed the ending, it looked sooo good!

 

It makes you want to stand onstage and do the same thing haha

 

We so very much need a DVD of this concert, and especifically, this performance :o Ordinaire, the more I listen to this song, the more I love it. It's like a dinosaur. The studio version is good, but live we get all the gestures and her attitude performing it. It's a song that is clearly written to be performed on the stage.

 

So how can they let pass this chance? Are they going to deprive all her international public from enjoying this testimony song? :doh:

I think it's on the dvd so it should be on YouTube- but there's lengthy footage of her saying goodbye to everyone and getting her scarf on and ignoring Garou etc and all a bit strange in my opinion. And then seemed a bit forced in the car when she was saying obviously just what she thought the cameras should see about Ginette etc....but that's a different topic, sorry all!!

I just found it. I can't believe i hadn't seen that before. Shame on me :D

Looking back to USF now after this tour makes it look like a mock :P I think I only have played the audio CDs a couple of times (and not in full). A concert where she barely did any talk and I agree she looked as if she didn't give a damn about it (though I'm not blaming her at all).

If they can't release a dvd they can still give us a concert on cd. Some absolute gems on this tour.

The behind the scenes with Garou and Ginette were for Sur les Plaines. The only behind the scenes for Une Seule Fois seemed to be Access Illimitee.

If they don't release this dvd (with a new french album to promote) then I can't see why they would release a dvd of the Vegas residency. Because essentially a dvd of the Vegas residency should logically be less beneficial to them. It's all the same songs that have been on all the previous dvds. Whereas with the french tour we have new french songs as well as many of her french songs that the non french speaking side may not know. I became a hard core fan in 2007 and even to this day with this tour I'm amazed at all the wonderful french songs she has which I may have otherwise never heard Edited by Kristinaz

It's the perfect stage today for filming. It's a small stage so it would give an intimate feeling and there's not much room for cranes and a big fanfare of cameras. So if they're going low-profile, they have no excuse now to avoid filming this concert -_-

Not sure why all the hate for Une Seule Fois, but all I know is I would love a CD or DVD of this current tour. So new, so fresh, so emotional, I would love something I can just pop into my player, put on headphones, and sit back and relax.
